I have been using the Queens pub on and off since 1991 when I was in my early 20s. It was known then as a student pub. Now it is more diverse. It is a wonderful old traditional pub. Once an Edwardian Hotel, and former haunt of students, it is very Bohemian and has a laid back welcome all atmosphere. Read moreWhere do I start, the Queens pub has been like a second home to me for many years now. Everyone here is so friendly it’s the kind of place you can go on your own and not be worried. Staff are very friendly too and can always have a laugh with them. The music is mostly always on point especially when Pete is in. It has a great beer garden with plenty of seating with a smaller smoking hut with a roof so great for when it’s raining.

It's a Marston pub so the beer is good and fairly priced. There's an open mic night with Live music and djs throughout the month.
