Not AuthenticThai food and Poor Service minded from the Chef. I am Thai who came to Ryde for the first time. I wish I could enjoy Thai food hear I did ask the waitress are there Thai chef here and she replied yes! .I decided to sit down and ordered a few dishes. Platter, It has come with fake Chicken Satay ; big lump of chicken pieces in stick and not been properly marinated I did not have it. Ugly Spring Rolls ; looked like deep fried batter stuff with tiny lump of something inside and lazy ugly folded it no where near Spring Roll at all! Greasy deep fried batter what I can say. Another dish was Kung Makham ; sicky sweet come with 4-5 pieces of breadcrum small prawns this is ridiculously main dish! Dont know how long they have openned the restaurant sorry for someone who dont know what is Thai food actually like. Furthermore the waitress spilled the Papaya Salad sauce into Pad Thai when she served us without apology and doing something about it. We ate less than half of it.I did ask to speak to the chief she is Thai but she has very poor service minded She did not want to accept her misunderstanding of how to cook and present Thai food in a proper way. She had attitude with customers and not willing to do something about it in fact she did reply to me aggressivly this is how she normally do! And so what?. I will not recommend Bann Thai Restaurant to anyone who wants to have real Thai food at all. If you want fake Thai feel free to come but that's it for me. Very bad experience and too expensive for £56. I've been too may Thai places in the UK cos I like travelling. I must say.This is the worse. Poor service minded Bad...

First time we had tried Ryde Thai and I wish we had done it sooner! Access into the restaurant is all on the flat and there would be room to maneuver a wheelchair inside, although I would let them know when booking a table if you are taking a wheelchair as some tables would be more accessible than others. It is not very big inside, so booking a table is recommended. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The menu is clear, well written and reasonablypriced. It also says on it that Gluten free can be catered for. The food was absolutely delicious, everything we had was fresh and hot and I can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be going back as I'm already craving another...

Oh dear oh dear oh dear We left a good rating last time we ate here - so I wanted to treat my brother and his wife to a great meal Well to cut a very long very much shorter the meal was quite good (I'm holding back here) I think twice about waiting in excess of two hours for my evening meal - the waitress was most apologetic but no explanation from the chef was forthcoming not even a complimentary drink to dull the pain ! There was a suggestion that chef was sending out takeaway orders before satisfying in-house diners What a shame - I hate leaving bad reviews but the fact of waiting over two hours embarrassed me in front of my brother Thinking twice about...
