Well.. I first started goin there about 13 years ago.. They used to have a lot of live music there and apparently it had an old covenant on th place which meant it could stay open til 4 am... Consequently , on a weekend every one would head there for a nice quiet , family style , wear what you like sort of place , let's have a good old knees up with a bit of after hours drinking , entertainment complex... Then th management would sometimes let my band play there and of course I loved that.. Aswell as that , they weren't too adverse to me letting off the odd pyrotechnic explosion... Then th place shut down and it looked like all those fun times had gone but No... Along came Ben and Michaela and the good times are back again with all the sports , quizzes , blindfolded ballroom dancing and singing by numbers , bear baiting and squirrel wrestling ..... All them good old fashioned , Early Tudor ,...

The decor (apart from the Halloween stuff) is pretty straight forward- my only little whinge would be there are a few large tables rather than lots of little ones.
