I wish I took photos of the food because it was actually terrible, I bought the Bella breakfast with an extra of black pudding for myself with a coffee that I thought came with it (which I’ll get back to later) and I bought the vegetarian breakfast with a coffee for my gf, I got home to eat my food after delivering my gf hers at work and I come to find the two eggs are fully cooked through not runny at all and very oily, came with only one sausage and one bacon which I’m sure it said you’d get two bacon, and the extra black pudding was literally one thin slice I was so dissapointed, it all came to £28.10 which the two breakfasts were £9.50 and the extra black pudding was like 1.75 I think so the two coffees must have been nearly £4 which I can’t believe really and I feel like a fool for going to this place when there’s much better options for that price on the same street I only went there thinking I’d maybe save some money but turned out I spent more for...

After walking around the City centre for a while taking in the heady scents of morocco's finest hash and weed that filled the streets, the munchies kicked in I guess and we stopped to brunch here at the Bella bar and restaurant.
The Bella breakfast was my weapon of choice with a white coffee, just scraping in at under £10. The food was well presented and served with a smile. As usual the first thing to get eaten was the beans, which on this occasion were lukewarm at the most, a very cheap sausage was also served up that completely lacked texture and taste, the bacon was also lack lustre, while being cooked it was most definitely not crispy. The eggs and toast though were absolutely delicious.

Read moreWe visited this restaurant on a wet afternoon because we had a 40% offer voucher. The food is of course average chain restaurant food. We were shocked as to how downmarket Brighton has become with all its graffiti and sadly the restaurant is in an area just off the lanes which is subject to many roadworks which makes even disabled parking difficult. We had pasta shells with cheese sauce and chicken and bacon which was reminiscent of a ready meal. The garlic bread was nice because it was made with flatbread and not thick so easier to eat. The waitress was friendly. The tables were scruffy and needed revarnishing but the overall ambience reminded us of eating in Italy or France.
