Bentos — Restaurant in England

My only regret is not coming here sooner ! Its in the town and I ordered online for pickup, I was able to find parking easily nearby. I picked several meals and all of them exceptional, the chicken katsu with curry sauce was delicious - the portion sizes are really generous - with a small side dish I was completely full. I've known the owner for several years, a genuinely really nice guy, and he does know his Korean cusine - it tastes authentic and great flavours. The price was brilliant - i paid under £50 for 3 meals and sides, i saved the bulgolgi for the next day and it was still delicious ! I can honestly say that this is one of the best korean food experiences i have had outside of Korea - that includes London / Geneva and Prauge ! Friendly, attentive staff happy to help describe the dishes and make recommendations. Great place if you want a satisfying, filling Asian meal in the town centre. Service is quick and portions are generous for the prices. I tried the Katsu curry, which was nothing to rave about, but my friend tried the pork which was delicious, topped with spicy sauces and fresh veggies. Most items are priced within £8. They have bar-stool type seating by the window and can accommodate 2-3 people at best, so I would not recommend for groups -or do a takeaway and eat asap.

A customer came in with a compliant of bones in his food, and the staff was quick to respond and offered to prepare a fresh dish or refund his money without any arguments. Shows good customer service! :)

Was introduced to this place by some work colleagues, don't be fooled by their lack of website, they clearly place emphasise on their food and cooking over brand, ever since, I've been slowly working my way through the menu here over the last few months and so far, I have not found anything I didn't like (although the chilli chicken and bentos box A is my fave so far).
