Bowery — Restaurant in England

After having a delicious meal at a different venue we decided to have a couple of drinks down princes ave. The bowery was the third pub and we ordered our usual round of drinks. I was drinking Malibu and coke as I had all night. I took a sip but it tasted strongly of aniseed. I asked my sis in law to check and she agreed. We politely asked if it could be changed and the young girl serving rolled her eyes and said no. At this point we hadn't yet paid so I said I didn't want it. Then a scruffy looking man came and said that it was Malibu and he wasn't going to change it. We then said that it didn't matter we would go elsewhere and left our 16.00 round of drinks without paying! He shouted to the bouncer as we left to never let us back in! Well we are a group of professionals in our 40s who were not drunk as we had been out for a meal. my experience can only be described in two words, fantastic! it was like when you really need to sneeze and it finally happens. i only popped in for a glass of water and a bag of crisps, but ended up having dinner 4 times throughout the day, including the best steak ever known. i really had the time of my life, and i owe it all to you. the atmosphere, wow! the staff, double wow! the squirrel outside, triple wow! i shall soon be returning with all of my friends and family (and mark) and making sure they try everything on the menu! i am completely overwhelmed by my experience and i could cry (i am right now), i am in disbelief a place like this exists. i have been crying for weeks (over...

We will never visit this place ever again, a £100 fine for a couple of mins over in the carpark while dinning with you, parking eye have a contact with Marsdens Brewery so your responce to the last person complaining about £100 fine saying its nothing to do with you and you dont like it either is utter rubbish, if you dont like it Marsdens should cancel the parking eye contract like many other businesses have like Coop and Aldi due to how many customers theyve lost, youve lost us for good, and i thought pubs were struggling and could ill afford to lose customers but you are digging your own graves !!!
