Cafe Aldo — Restaurant in England

We came here on Easter Sunday morning for breakfast, it wasn't busy so we were quickly seated and given menus.

A waitress gave us a few minutes to look before coming to take our orders. We both ordered the Aldo's English breakfast and a latte.

The drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering how many customers were inside and the fact that the food is clearly freshly cooked to order.

The only two reasons I don't give full stars (and this might sound petty!) is firstly, the amount of chips given with the large breakfast.... Check my photos. What a ridiculous amount of chips. Honestly, there is plenty of food on the plate but the portion of chips is quite frankly stingy. My second reason is the sausage, it's not a good quality sausage. Everything else is great quality, and the eggs were perfectly cooked.

We were in Brighton for a couple of days as it was my son's birthday, we stumbled across Cafe Aldo as we had 2 children with us and needed to get some breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and a good portion size. The service was excellent and the even put our buggy away for us, so we had more room. Upon asking for the bill the owner who was lovely worked out it was my son's birthday, without asking they bought a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with 2 scoops of ice cream. The whole cafe then sung happy birthday for him!! Thank you for making his day and for making him feel so special. Will definitely be visiting next time and with plenty of Cafe's to choose from I would definitely recommend this one for a lovely...
