Having visited on the 12th January and again today I have to say what an amazing visit it was today (13th Feb 2022) mid-day.. On entering the "ristorante" we were welcomed by a yound guy, extremely friendly and welcoming (called Alex) he immediately put us at ease and offered us seating near the window, as my lovely GF has a bad back, we requested high back chairs and we're duly seated, and left alone with the menu's for a few minutes. Firstly, the special Pizza menu, the goats cheese and hot honey absolutely leapt off the page and Louise ordered this, I Stick with my preferred pizza "Diavola" in England we called them pepperoni (don't make this mistake in Italia, as you'll get a pizza with peppers on, ONLY)
We ordered drinks, and the Fatto Blonde birra, it was lovely, fruity and very enjoyable with Pizza, Louise had her usual G&T.
Free tap water and Alex took our order, we were asked about allergies and intollerence, and I joked I only have an intolerance to "cold plates"..
When, this massive pizza came, mine was amazing, soft, chewy dough, amazing flavour, perfect and you can tell its a matured 2 day plus dough, with great fermentation. The mozzarella is soft, tasty and has real taste so must be a good quality Italian Buffallo mozzarella, the salami picante is spicy and full of flavour, finished off with Basil and Hallipenos this was AMAZING.
I HAD TO snatch a slice of this amazing Goats Cheese and Hot Honey pizza, what a revelation, unless it's copywrited, I am definitely going to make this at home, you can taste the goats cheese and then the honey "whacks" you with sweetenes "WHAT A BRILLIANT PIZZA" cooked to perfection.
THIS EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING AND THE SERVICE FROM MATINA, ALEX AND THE Italian guy from near Roma was outstanding and like many restaurants, it's not always the food but the staff that make the experience.
This time THE FOOD WAS AMAZING and the STAFF ARE EXEPTIONAL
IF YOU are visiting, try a negroni and you must try the goats cheese and Hot Honey pizza.. FATTO Manno are even happy for two to share a pizza which if you want a quick bite to eat, come here FATTO MANNO NORTH LANE.

Read moreIncredible pizza. The food, drinks, prices and iconic location make this one of the best restaurants in Brighton. Perfect for a date night or social gathering.
I love pizza and I love Brighton, which means I have tried almost every pizza spot in the city. This includes Franco Manca, Fatto A Mano, VIP, Nanninella and Pizza Pilgrims - and of all of them Fatto A Mano, and specifically the North Laine location, remains my favourite.
It is a lovely location and perfect for tourists, with Kensington Gardens being one of the most popular and busy streets in Brighton. There is plenty of outdoor seating, best enjoyed with a glass of wine or spritz, and this is the more preferred seating in my opinion - the interior of the restaurant can become cramped and noisy as numbers go up.
The food itself is often faultless, although as with most pizza places, it is very difficult to ensure true consistency. My partner and I love olives and always order a portion, we follow this with an order of their arancini balls which are phenomenal and well worth the price (£7.50). I am a sucker for a good capricciosa and therefore often order it. My partner is more adventurous and has tried most of the pizzas - her favourite is the 'Nduja.
Service is friendly and efficient. It gets very busy and there is occasionally a queue outside but staff are attentive and will seat you as soon as possible. Once seated, you never feel pressured to finish your meal quickly or leave, even when it's busy, which shows staff want you to enjoy the experience.
Fatto A Mano has always been on the cheaper side, with pizza's priced between £10-15 and starters all under £10. You can easily have dinner here with 1 drink each for under £40 which is amazing value when you consider the quality of the food. Just make sure you visit the North Laine location, as the quality of the food and the overall experience is far better than at Hove or...
Read moreThe restaurant is located on the edge of the Laines in historical Brighton, so it is a tightly-packed (or should that be, cosy?) spot. It seems that booking is essential, even in October, but we were really lucky to walk up and get the last table in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. The service was good. The waiter was really attentive and offered his suggestions for the Specials and off the main menu. He also informed us what had already sold out. The noise of the other evening revellers, did make it difficult to hear him, but we got there! The choice from the menu seemed limited in comparison with other places of a similar nature, but there is still a good choice between pizzas and pastas. Considering how busy, the drinks and then the starters were presented in very quick time and the food was very hot and tasty. The mains followed soon after, so we got the impression that the tables were needed to be turned over fairly quickly. The restaurant was packed! We were too full for a dessert and the bill was quickly offered up. I am sure that if you wanted a more relaxed meal, then you can indicate this to the waiter. Or maybe book the table? The experience was maybe a little rushed, but the food was very good, as was the service. We quite like...
