What a wonderful Dinner... wow, we loved this. Unfortunately I totally forgot to photograph it all. From first setting foot into the intimate setting with the most gorgeous lights and atmosphere, to leaving, the staff were all extremely attentive. We had had a look online beforehand to check dietary details and it was so good for my 'dairy free' requirement. The menu is very varied and extremely fragrant. We ordered cocktails first having a Blue Hawaiin and a mojito. Food ordered was.. Dumplings and vegetable spring rolls. The dumplings were served in a steamer basket and in a sauce. Vegetable rolls were beautifully light and very flavoursome, alongside a chilli sauce for dipping. Mains were noodles, coconut rice, cashew nut chicken and sweet and sour chicken. All were so very good, I would have no trouble re ordering again. The coconut rice was unreal, I've never tasted something quite so amazing! We couldn't finish the meals, they are of good portions, so we shared both mains, therefore, we didn't order desserts. I would totally visit Coco and Rum again and am wondering already when our next visit will be!! TOTALLY DELICIOUS.... Fabulous 'date night!' If you can't visit you can get take outs from here too!!

Its recommended to reserve a table. We was welcome by gentleman asking if we have a reservation, after inform him we don't, he found table and inform Us when table is need for reservation. We had two hours to enjoy. Food is very tasty and bring to Us in high standard by experienced staff. There is no problem with customise order. House burger is served with fries, burger sauce and coleslaw which is handmade, not bought. I ask to remove king prawns from burger which was sorted without any comment. Cashewnut meal with chicken was really delicious. Chicken was soft, well prepared and vegetables was crispy. Meal was served without rice which we order as a side. One of the best fried rice We ever eat. Highly recommended especially for the meetings. There is no dress code, however most of people wearing shirts than tshirts.

As a long-term resident of Redcar and Cleveland, it's difficult to avoid hearing others bestow high praise on this Thai outfit. As such, and without ever needing much excuse to scoff my face, I felt it was my duty to dine at Coco & Rum and report back! I've now visited this establishment on three separate occasions and my "hot take"? It's absolutely... fine? The food is perfectly satisfactory. However, when it is priced quite highly - even by Saltburn standards - I personally would expect better quality. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say that I've had takeaways that have been on par, if not better, than what I've had here. Obviously, for me, the quality of the food and price is most important, and if you can accept that the former is just fine, and the latter is slightly eye-watering, at times, then everything else is excellent. The service and atmosphere of the place is great. The staff are very courteous and helpful. So yeah, a decent outfit, but not one I would rate as highly as other restaurants I've visited in the area.

First restaurant in a while. Even if i am used to asian food, I have been impressed by the food. The veggies were perfect - cooked but still with firm texture, chicken was nice and the sour sauce well balanced. You add up a team that work really hard to keep the place safe but with a nice atmosphere and setup. We barely felt any difference with the past life. The alcohol free cocktails were really nice too, even if i am not a big fan i loved them. Compared to the quality value, price was really nice. I look forward to my next visit there !

Superb place. We had two very different dishes and they were both packed with flavour. Very friendly and attentive staff, very reasonably priced (both food and drink). We had two very generously portioned full mains and a pint, plus service, for less than £25 each. They ask for every dish whether you like mild, moderate or very spicy, so you can be guided by what you fancy. We got moderate and it had a nice kick without being wild and full of flavour. Glad we came. Check it out.

Some of the best gluten free options. It was so nice to be lost for choice with their range. The servers were so polite and friendly, the environment was great and covid safe! We went early evening and it was busy but not packed and food came at such a good time, with powerful cocktails displayed wonderfully. For starters, mains, and two drinks each, it came to £33 a head. Not joking when I say the starters were as big as a main course! Can't wait to go back
