My name is Ravinder and I live in windsor. I have been attending all Costa coffee restaurants in Windsor for many years. I was in Costa the one on st Leonardās road windsor on Sunday 29th June with my 7 year old daughter. I just wanted to put to your attention how your staff treated me and I was bullied by others customers who were just sitting around the cafe passing time. Please watch the footage if you have cameras in Costa. I arrived in Costa around 16.37pm. I picked up 3 sandwiches and waited to be served. There was a lady before me in the queue. I assumed she has been served. After waiting around 10 minutes- raluca carried on getting deleveroo order ready and other staff carried on cleaning the floor behind the till area. Then when raluca was ready she served the lady in front of me. After her she started to serve me and then she said I canāt have the sandwich and oven is off now. My issue is Costa trading hrs are until 5 on Sunday. Why is it always this Costa on st Leonardās road that always turns the oven off. She said oven was turned off at 16.45. I was in the queue for 10 minutes and she saw I was holding the sandwich. My daughter just wanted some food.
I work in king Edward hospital in Windsor. We close at 17.00pm everyday. If we had a patient come in at 16.45 for anything, trust me he or she will be helped and seen to. No way we will have this attitude. What was so upsetting was that she didnāt even try to help in anyway. I requested to speak to the manager to ask why trading has stopped before closing time, she said manager is not here. I then asked her for customer service number and she said I donāt know the number and then I asked if she could right down her name and she refused. I said if I could have pen and paper so I could write down her name then she said she does not have a pen or paper. I carried on saying how about you could write on tissues and she still refused. This is horrible service. I did not wanted to take out my phone and take pictures of her name badge. I did not wanted to invade her private space.
I also told her I have dyslexia. She went on to make fun off me. So did the others in in the cafe. At that point I started to get upset and cry while my daughter was watching. By then the lady who was in front of me came back to the cafe and supported me. She has also left a review on website. Costa which is in the hight street Windsor is amazing. Lovely staff and the always welcome customer with a smile. I have bought reduced food from there on many occasions just before they close at 6, they never turn the oven off before closing time. I understand this Costa on st Leonardās road is a franchise. Raluca is not what I would call a good worker. She even asked me to show her proof of my disability. She carried on making fun off me. I said to her all I want is for her to write her name down and I will leave the cafe. She dragged the whole thing. I told her I was not leaving until she did. So when she finally did write it down and gave it to me then she said - while making fun off meā¦. Can you read this. Horrible person. This has disturbed me and my daughter so much and the fact is makes fun of people if they are disabled. Iām not sure if you will look into this. I am so close to posting this on facebook and my work place to show everyone how customers get treated by this person. I do hope this branch manager looks into my complaint and the staff keep serving food until closing time. Thank you all for reading...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my non-booting tower PC unit in to Castle PC in Windsor in mid-June 2013. I asked them to get it going again and to remove the optical drive which, though I'd barely used it, had never worked properly and which was seemed to be causing crashes.
They fixed the HDD, which wouldn't boot following a bad Adobe Flash Player update experience. They told me that the mother board was actually knackered and this was causing my Samsung optical drive to malfunction.
They kindly removed my old Gigabyte motherboard and replaced it with an old, but working, ASUS unit and did that as part of the work for getting the HDD going again, i.e. basically for FREE. Really good because I was able to get my machine back to work without shelling out on a complete new system. Proof of pudding regarding the motherboard is that the Samsung optical drive now works perfectly. They also did a reasonably priced follow-up when I accidentally deleted the ethernet drivers when re-loading the operating system with XP Pro rather than the XP Home that they'd installed.
All-in-all an excellent experience. Phil & Sebastian know what they're doing, they get it done and they also tell you clearly what's going on. I like this outfit and it'll be my first port of call when the next (inevitable) PC problem...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI witnessed something very distressing yesterday in this costa at 435. I was getting a Costa, the 2 staff were busy preparing a Deliveroo order. Then a lady gave her sandwiches to be heated, Raluca the staff member turned around with attitude and said āI canāt make this, oven is closed as we shut at 5. The customer said very Calmly and politely, I been waiting here 7-10mins and itās only 445ā. Raluca said can you hurry up and move and let me serve the next customer now and pulled the sandwiches away from here. She then started serving the next customer. Then a few customers in the shop started shouting at this customer to the point of making her cry! One customer was saying.. āget out the shop, sheās not your slave!ā . The distressed customer then asked for her name as she was going to report this, she again rudely pointed to her name tag and said itās here, note it down! The customer was with her young daughter who witnessed this. This is bullying and should not happen! I love going to Costa as all staff are normally very welcoming and friendly! Never will I return here with this staff member...
