5+ Rating! When you come to a tourist town you don't expect to get anything special when buying an Ice cream. WOW We found something amazing here!

This is a lovely little cafe and ice cream parlour serving delicious fresh made Italian style ice cream and it's made on site by some real Italians and they were lovely people.

The service was very good and the owners were very friendly. My 4 year old daughter really needed the toilet so we asked the nearest place (crema e Cioccolato) if we could use the toilet. Despite not being a customer they said yes without any fuss. This kind of attitude has long been lost in this country. Whilst my daughter and partner was attending the WC I got chatting to one of the owners who was very polite and friendly. The ice cream caught my eye not only was they lovely looking but, they also had a reasonable vegan selection which is up my street 😊.

Later in the day we returned and purchesed a tub of bubble gum ice cream which my daughter approved of. My partner got a 2 scoop cone which she said was delicious and I got a 2 scoop vegan cone with fruits of the forest and banoffe. I have to say that this was the BEST VEGAN ICE CREAM I have ever tasted. It was also reasonably priced for a tourist town. I would of been happy paying 30% more. So happy we stumbled across this absolute gem of a restaurant whilst visiting Scarborough! We were offered a taster style menu of tradition antipasti dishes and each one was truly delicious!!! It was more of an experience than a meal and my whole party loved it. The two owners are so so friendly and took the time to explain where all the food came from and the method of making the dishes. They also told us the story of how the restaurant came about which was really interesting. I would love to go back in the evening and have a few drinks from the bar. It's no surprise to me that the only 1 star review is idiotic because honestly this is a 5 star experience from beginning to end. The people running the place clearly know their stuff and have made a fantastic menu. They are very approachable so there's no excuse really as they'd absolutely sort out any miscommunication.

My daughter is allergic to eggs and milk so you'd think a place like this isn't suitable. Think again. It's a great place for people with dietary requirements. We left with one very happy 3 year old who doesn't usually get to enjoy interesting...
