The Turks Head — Restaurant in England

We have been to the TH on a number of occasions & never had any issues, the pub does get busy & looks like a regular place the locals go to as you generally find the same faces propping up the bar. On our recent visit my husband noticed that one of the urinals was full of sick which was blocking it & urine was overflowing on to the floor. He did mention this to the security guy & was told in an aggressive manner that it had been like that all day, my husband said that its not really on to be padding through other peoples stomach contents & urine to which the security barked "Do I look like a cleaner". Im sorry but if your paying to drink in a pub then sanitary conditions in the toilets should be a given, apart from being a health hazard, if anyone slipped & injured themselves then it would be everyones problem whether paid cleaners or not! From there we were asked to leave as my husband said that his attitude was terrible....

Would have minus 5 stars if possible. Just left after witnessing junkie borrowing credit card off one of the girls with him, taking it to the toilet and using for taking a line. (This I know as when he came back, said to one of his friends 'Need loo as that line's gone straight through me). Also two gentlemen we were talking to went into the toilet and found the card with remnants of white powder and handed to lady behind bar who turned a blind eye. Will not return which is a shame as this used to be a good pub, horse racing, sports etc. Unfortunately the only sport now is 'recreational' drug taking with nothing...

Me and my wife visited The Turks head last Saturday evening for a few hours, it was the last pub on our pub crawl, and the best, nice and clean, Karaoke was on great atmosphere, great music, every one was friendly and enjoying them selves, locals and people on holiday. The following day I realized idle lost my reading glass's, and rang around, I spoke to the land-lady Nina who kindly went out of her way, and made time to post them back home to me, and paying for the postage, would definitely recommend this pub, we'll definitely be back. 10 marks out of Ten thank...
