Joe's Burger House — Restaurant in England

Got the classic burger on a 2 for 1, as well as the loaded fries (bacon buts). The burger is absolutely 10/10. I had one hot on delivery and the second cold the next day for lunch. Both hot and cold it was absolutely on point. Most burgers are the same but the patty and bun here are super high quality and you can definitely taste it. Normally, I find most beef burger patties in town have a pungency that comes through in the taste. Its hard to describe exactly what it is, but its almost a cheesy tang like parmesan that is often off-putting and makes me think the beef is farmed unethically/poorly leaving it with that strange cheesy taste. Joes patties, however, taste so damn good. Its pure beef goodness, no funky aromas and zero freezer burn. Absolutely banging. Never leave reviews. To be completely fair and balanced though, the fries (although perfectly seasoned and generously loaded) were a bit dry in my opinion. I reckon some gravy or sauce would do bits, and I ended up adding some instant gravy myself. Also if you see this, why not pop poutine on the menu 👀. Just received order delivered via deliveroo, 2 burgers cold ( inedible cold) and 2 chips 1 sweet potato and1 normal,not packaged correctly so was laying in the bottom of the delivery bag mixed up.. first time ordering and won't be ordering again, Shame as the reviews were good.

Ordered from again a year later february 2023. Burger was warm (edible) this time however they need to get rid of there caramelised onions. These onion were NOT caramelised they were so sweet tasted more like onion marmalade. Incredibly sweet! I had to deconstruct my burger to remove it all , burger to onion marmalade ratio was exactly the same so all you can taste is a really really sweet onions and no burger meat this was not pleasant. Extremely disappointing experience ordering Joe's through Uber Eats last night. Have ordered many times before, been good. Made a large order, 3 x burgers, several sides to have only some of the sides arrive. Spoke to Joe's they said they had not given the driver one of the bags and that as it was their mistake, they'd resend the full order. An hour later I received a call from a very rude Uber Eats agent stating the order would not be arriving and that he would give me a partial refund. We had left the sides that had turned up as they were cold by the that point so really needed a full refund. Joe's had obviously spoken to Uber Eats and instructed them to give us a partial refund ignoring their promise to replace the order.
