EXTREMELY AVERAGE FOOD! - Firstly I ordered the antipasti starter to share, it was simply sliced meat like you would buy from the supermarket from a packet and put on a board with some warm bread. The olives served were from a jar and were tasteless. This small platter costing around £14. For main I had the pork, this was flavourless and served with nothing but bread, no potatoes, no veg, nothing! Poor, again around £15. My girlfriend ordered the pasta which was the most simple pasta I have ordered and even that was poorly cooked and of a low standard. All round a very disappointing experience and to top it off, we were then served 2 Gin and Tonics in such small glasses it was so strong that it was undrinkable, when asking for a larger glass they gave us two pint glasses, no garnish with our drinks, not even a slice of lemon. Staff were nice enough but clearly didn't see a problem with any of this...

My god this place is such a little hidden gem. If I’m honest, the outside signage and decor doesn’t do it justice, I’ve passed by it multiple times and never thought to stop in. Someone recommended it to my girlfriend and we’ve been twice now, once on a date and I once last night to celebrate my mums birthday.

To tell you the pasta is delicious would be doing a disservice, the pasta is AMAZING. I absolute love gnocchi and their 4 cheese Gnocchi I honestly have to eat with my eyes closed it’s that good. Their garlic bread is freshly baked and phenomenal.

The waiters were so warm and inviting, even though we were one of the last tables they didn’t make us feel rushed and they were really hospitable.

We’ve been completely blown away by this restaurant tonight… Out of any restaurant we have EVER been to, this has made us feel the most uplifted, overjoyed and pleasantly surprised, we didn’t realise it would be this good. The service was very welcoming and warm, but the food… it was on another level. If you love proper Italian food this beats anywhere in Brighton and Hove, easily. We even believe it was better than our recent trip to Rome and any of the restaurants we went to there - truly fantastic. Thank you very much to the staff, the love and energy you put into making the food is very clear, it’s rare to find such passion at a restaurant. It reminded me of when my Grandma (who was an Italian chef) would cook us beautiful...
