Not Impressed. Considering Kaspa’s is so well known and loved by many people I’m surprised by the state of the Kaspa’s restaurant in Hull. The cleanliness needs a good look at. For example,
The glasses filled with water we asked for were gritty and poorly washed I watched a woman clean a table for the next customers with one swipe of a dirty wet cloth which did hardly anything The chef had food marks on the back of their jeans where they’d cleared foods such as flour from their hands onto their clothing After cutting up fruit for waffles they left spare pieces out on the counter tops where flies were flying by and landing near and on the fruit Batter that had spilled was also left to sit on counters for god knows how long The table we sat at also had no cutlery in the pots which meant we then had to get up and ask for some The menus were also in very bad condition, they had food on and other things that were not nice to see
Usually I’m very happy with the Kaspa’s food itself but in Hull even their food wasn’t made well.
I ordered a banoffee cookie dough which had around 4 pieces of banana throughout the whole thing My friends mother ordered a banoffee waffle which also had very very few pieces of banana on Both my friend and I ordered cookie dough which was over cooked to the point where we had to scrape the cookie dough off the bottom of the dish
Overall the experience in Hulls Kaspa’s was not very good at all. I will be returning to Kaspa’s itself as I like the food but not to the...

It was my child’s birthday and he asked to go to Kaspas for his birthday treat. We arrived at Kaspas at 8:10pm after checking the opening times online and see that they were open until 9pm. It was hisThere were customers sat at booths. However, the very rude male server, handed us a menu and barked “takeaway only cos we close soon”. I replied that their opening hours state that they don’t close until 9pm. He said “yeh but we stop serving inside at 8:30pm. I pointed out that it was only 8:10pm but he very rudely shouted that it was takeaway only.
I put down the menu and walked out. On our way back to the car, we spotted Heavenly Desserts. OMG that place is incredible!!! The restaurant is huge and absolutely beautiful. It has a massive menu and the prices are very reasonable. The welcomes us in and said that they don’t close until 10pm. We ordered 4 desserts and 2 drinks. Everything was perfect and the staff were amazing!
Thanks to the rude staff at Kaspas for allowing us the chance to find Heavenly Desserts. We won’t be coming to...
Read moreOrdered June 2. Milkshakes were so runny they were just flavoured milk, choco nut waffle had maybe a teaspoon of Nutella on it, was meant to have caramel syrup and whipped cream and came with gelato instead, the cookie dough was also meant to come with cream and came with gelato. I ordered a specific sundae because I have a gluten allergy and they sent 2 of the sundaes my son ordered instead which was brownie cookie dough. Disappointed at a £60 order that wasn't worth it. I called and complained, he asked me to come pick up another order, told him I couldn't because I have a broken ankle. He said to call back the next day as they would have drivers then. Called back the next day and was the same story, tried again the next day and they had no idea what I was talking about. Really disappointed as we've usually never had a problem with kaspas but it's really gone down hill, lots of the cakes aren't available. With the new dessert place in town that also has GF options I doubt we will be bothering with Kaspas anymore, that way I won't be losing £60...
