Kitchen Cafe — Restaurant in England

Average food, didn't understand why the place is 4.8 ☆ and as a first timer coming to Kitchen Cafe, I thought I'd give it a try.

Place was busy, no seats available so waited for a few mins and I got a seat. I came on a Friday early afternoon.

I ordered set 4 which the set had 1 sausage, 1 burger patty, mushrooms, beans, 1 tomato and 1 egg without the toasts and a coffee. It cost me £9.30.

I had to go up and ask for my coffee to be made mid-eating my breakfast and when I did, I didn't even finish the whole cup, I can just taste boiled water more than the coffee.

We were leaving Brighton after a weekend here and were looking for a good English breakfast. We made a trip into town to specifically come here as it looked good and reasonably priced. I popped into the Kitchen Cafe last week for the first time since lockdown. I’m happy to report that their standards are just as high, the breakfast absolutely delicious and still very reasonably priced. The service was first rate too, and as always the cleanliness was exemplary. In addition to freshly prepared and outstanding traditional English breakfast, they also serve lunches with daily specials.
