La Bottega is an absolute gem! I chose this restaurant to celebrate my 30th birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The owner, Alex, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure my special day was unforgettable. His passion for hospitality and authentic Italian cuisine was evident in every detail.

The food was nothing short of outstanding. I was lucky enough to have Alex personally prepare a special pasta dish that wasn’t even on the menu—made with Italian salami, chili, tomato, and mozzarella. The flavors were bold, rich, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and creaminess. It was easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had, and the fact that Alex took the time to make something unique for me made it even more special.

As if the incredible food wasn’t enough, Alex himself was behind the bar, crafting delicious cocktails for us to enjoy as we celebrated. Each drink was expertly mixed, and it truly felt like we were getting a personalized experience from someone who loves what they do.

And then came the desserts—imported directly from Italy! Every bite was a taste of authentic Italian indulgence, from rich tiramisu to delicate pastries that melted in my mouth. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.

A Wonderful Italian Dining Experience in Blackpool

From the moment you step into this charming Italian restaurant in Blackpool, you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere that instantly sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The team, led by the skilled chefs who interact with guests at the front of house, offers a personal touch that makes you feel truly looked after from start to finish.

The food is nothing short of outstanding. The fillet steak was beautifully prepared, tender, and full of flavor—an absolute highlight of the meal. As a starter, the garlic bread, with a delightful combination of half cheese and half tomato, topped with thin strips of salami, was perfect. The base was thin and crispy, a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to authentic Italian flavors. It’s simple, yet delicious—just the way Italian food should be.

Came to Blackpool for a day out from Manchester and was struggling to decide what to eat for dinner, found La BOTTEGA online and wanted to give it a try (had too much fish and chips and burgers), simple to reserve a table on the phone.

Great attentive service throughout the meal since the moment we arrived. Both starters (meat ball and tiger prawns) were delicious and very well good flavours, house red wine was also decent given its reasonable price.

Ordered the agnolotti and salmon for mains, oh boy the rasberry vodka sauce for agnolotti was magical and went so well with the silky agnolotti, had to clean up every bit of the sauce, grilled salmon with saffron sauce also cooked to perfection, actually quite surprised by how well the side veg were prepared especially the fluffy potatoes.

After the mains the chef came and brought on the dessert trolly, such a fun sight, was blown away by the tiramisu and lemon tart was also very good. Finished with a straight espresso shot (would try the espresso martini next time if not driving!) and that was a perfect night.

Absolutely my number 1 restaurant in Blackpool now, will definitely come again everytime...
