Little Dessert Shop Leicester — Restaurant in England

Poor customer service. Called up as tried to place order online and it said you could collect at 5pm only. Called the shop and explained and they said place order and they would change the time to collect. So placed order. I then called the shop back and said that the online payment was showing as pending my end but on the order confirmation it showed as not paid. The lady then kept saying yes you can get your order I explained three times and even said you’re not listening to what I’m saying. She then said she would ring her manager. She then called back and said I’ve spoken to my manager and this is fine you can come and collect your order in 30mins as we have all the details. Went and collected order from the shop. After getting home 20mins later I get a call from the same lady saying that you haven’t paid for the order. I said I tried to explained several times about the payment that’s it’s showing pending my end and she clearly did not listen. Then to get told you need to come back and pay. I explained that I don’t live close and was not prepared to travel back. She said go back on your app and pay. I explained that it is not showing anything on the app. She kept repeating the same thing again and again. I said I will pay over the phone but it is showing as pending my end and she said no you need to come in and pay by card and or cash. Explained again that I was not travelling back after I explained several times about the payment before I came! Lessons to learn is that the staff need to listen to what the customer is saying and not ignore them and then phone up and be rude when it could have been avoided if they just listened...

One of the worst dessert place in the entire Leicestershire region, very unprofessional and very unhygienic place in the environment that they make your desert, check out the city councils rating for the quality of cleanliness, their staff is so rude and does not know how to be polite to their customers and therefore, their management is even worst as they do you favour and not like their consumers don’t pay for their orders, beside very unpleasant ownership and running a false business under the pretext of scamming their consumers, I would urge all of you to write the reviews according to your treatments that is received by the one the worst place in the entire East Midlands region. Therefore, being a bloggers I will make sure to give them a right message all over the social media’s and make the awareness out to the general public. Don’t buy or use them, I can vouch there are many many more decent places in Leicestershire when it comes to good places for sweet items NOT The Little Dessert Shop, avoid avoid big scam the company is.!!!

Plus they charge me twice for something they failed to deliver, had 2 different drivers not able to collect my order and after 2 plus hours, they still struggled to deliver and charging their customers even though they failed to get the items for which was paid, and when you cancel they still charge very unethical business practice, legal complaints are coming along...

I’ve been coming to Little Dessert Shop every time I’m in town — it’s become a bit of a tradition at this point. My absolute favourite is the Mississippi Mudpie ice cream — it’s so good! I also love the glittery lemonades, especially the strawberry and passion fruit ones. Yusra makes them perfectly every time, and she’s always super lovely and friendly.

I’ve also tried the waffles (Endless Temptation was the one I went for) and they did not disappoint! I even tried their sundae and — yum. The vibes in the shop are always chill and welcoming, which makes it a nice place to hang out.

My only complaint would be the price — £5 for two scoops when eating in feels a bit much, especially when one time the bowl I got was really tiny! It just felt like poor value that day. But honestly, despite that, I still go there and enjoy it every time. Just wish the prices were a bit...
