Millie's — Restaurant in England

I went here for coffee and when I realised the price I realised I could of brought at least 2 pints in a pub. The food was nicely presented and in future I believe rather than buy just 2 coffee's, To buy 2 breakfasts for 12.00 and get coffee free with them works out cheaper than buying just coffee. The premises are clean and have a fish tank inside. The problem I think with millies in their opening times where as they do not open until 10 and they really are missing out on the morning trade especially from people who are on there way to work and would like a coffee and like most coffee shops in torquay, There's no where open for people who want a coffee in the morning before going to work open hence why macdonalds in busy in the morning serving just coffee to people before they go work. I think to open any business that a business brain is needed and research on improving businesses can help by opening a coffee shop earlier to get the passing trade. Popped into Millie’s coffee shop for breakfast this morning. Served by a very pleasant, friendly lady. The outside and inside decor is sleek and modern (functions as a bar in the evening). I had a cream tea which was quite average and was ready a bit too quickly for it to have been high quality, the scone being quite bland and the tea tasteless even as far as cafe tea goes.
