Today i came to Otello to have some lunch with my friends, and we asked where to sit down, so the guy pointed it out to us and came over straigh away with the menu, then we asked if we could move, because we were sitting by the big open window and it was a little cold. He didnt seem too happy that we wanted to move. So we moved, started looking at the menu waiting for somebody to come and ask if we wanted any drinks about after 15 minutes a guy came over asked what drinks we wanted no smile rude didnt even bother asking if we were ready to order. so he walked away made the drinks other guy took it to our table and asked if we wanted to order also rude did not look hapy, so we got the food, didnt get offered any parmasam cheese or black peper as most restaurants would do, never came back to check on us if the food was okay or ask if we wanted more drinks. I was disappointed because there was two ladies near our table who got the service were offered things and we did not. The place wasnt even busy at that time it was 3 of them walking around not really doing anything so rude no smile at all, the food was tasty but they need to work on their service because no one will ever g back there if people will get treated like that also they have a service charge THEY DO NOT DESERVE A PENNY for this sort of service. not coming...
Read moreOur booking was not saved, although the front of house man said they would prepare and extra table for us. Also we were given a free glass of prosecco while waiting to make up for the fact of the missed booking. The table prepared, however, was very close to the kitchen and in the middle of a corridor attached to cutlery and restaurant gear, so we said we’d rather wait for a regular table.
We were finally seated and about to order. We ordered the starters first and said to the waiter that we would order the mains in just a bit as we hadn’t decided yet. The waiter did not mind but another waiter that used to work at Morelli Zorelli would constantly stand next to our table and stare at me to get our attention, interrupting and making me feel uncomfortable. We would have liked being informed that starters and mains have to be ordered at once (if that is the case).
Calamari starter was plain, barely breaded and chewy. The garlic bread was extremely disappointing. Just a thick piece of baguette with almost no sauce on top. Mains were good.

Read moreBought: Ceasar's Salad with the chicken, pizza with ham and mushrooms, profiteroles.
The chicken was simply awful; it was of very questionable quality as meat and it was smelly and boiled-like, similar to the boiled chicken with rice they serve at the hospital. In a salad. Boiled chicken.
The profiteroles were astonishingly abysmal. The sous were stuffed with cream from the can, and the chocolate was chocolate syrup, like the one you buy from the supermarket. They didn't even bothered to make their own chocolate ganache.
The pizza bread was alright. The materials of the pizza tasted cheap, while the pizza crust was probably the best thing in our entire experience.
The style of the restaurant was way too much stuck in the early '90s, and not in a good, retro way.
Finally, the +10% Service Charge was absolutely ridiculous, keeping in mind that the place did not even provide small dishes for us, or...
