Peking Garden — Restaurant in England

This was my first time ordering and I was so impressed that I am leaving them this well deserved review. I ordered at 22.58 and was estimated 60to 70 mins, and it arrived in under half an hour, the food was hot and fresh, and the delivery driver did not knock loud which I appreciated as I wanted a quiet treat while the children slept. I ordered lung po and mushroom fried rice. And chow mein. It came with prawn crackers and fortune cookies as free extras. UNLIKE other takeaways I have ordered from (which pack it with alot of chunky onion and carrot and less meat, bamboo shoots and cashew nuts. I was VERY surprised and happy that the proportions relative to the dish ingredients and size of the onions and carrots were small and slim. The meat had alot of flavour and was tender, and there were generous amounts of these, this made the texture and flavour of the dish and experience of eating it so much better and much more authentic. The sauce its self was dekicious, full of bakanced flavour and not greasy or heavy Also there was enough to share between 2 persons with some left over. The mushroom fried rice was delicious the mushrooms were perfectly cooked and not soggy or slimey and and again a generous enough serving size for decent size to share between 2 people. The prices were lower than what i normally pay. And the quality far exceeded that. I don't normally leave reviews but this restaurant takeaway blew me away. The first time I ordered from here was a few weeks ago. I ordered the salt and pepper box comes with spareribs chips, chicken balls, Salt-N-Pepa, chicken spring rolls and chicken bites.! I also ordered beef fried rice curry sauce and it came with salt and pepper. Dip too. I must say they are very generous with the portions! It was so tasty, and literally arrived within 20-25 minutes even though the delivery time frame on just eat, said between 30 and 50 minutes. How I was wrong I was still in the bloody shower when it came ! Today was my second time I ordered from here and well, just as good as the first time! All this for 25 quid, including the drink! Potentially would’ve been even cheaper if I ordered directly from them but I didn’t have cash. I think just eat prices are slightly higher than from them. But anyways thank you again five stars now that I live in city centre. This will be my go...

Me and my husband have ordered from this takeaway numerous times over the last year, and never had an issue until tonight.

I bite into my spring roll and felt something sharp…had a look and the spring roll has metal spiralling throughout its entire contents! It’s very sharp and very hard!

Ring up and were offered a replacement spring roll. You’ve got to be kidding. A refund is offered but when we go to Just Eat to claim that refund, they said it’s for a spring roll.
