From start to finish, my dining experience at Afghan Restaurant was absolutely perfect! The moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm smiles and attentive service that made me feel truly valued as a guest. The ambiance was inviting, elegant, and comfortable — the ideal setting for a memorable meal.

Every dish was prepared to perfection, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite, and the menu offered a wonderful balance of creativity and authenticity. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the perfectly Cooked Chef's special ( Lamb & Chicken Karahi ), Main Course ( Aghan Special Qabli Pulao) to the delightful desserts that ended the meal on a high note.

The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring an excellent dining experience. Service was prompt yet unhurried, making the evening both relaxed and special.

I used to praise their food and has been their regular customer for over a year. Anytime I didn’t want to cook, we would immediately think of ordering from them, it was always on the top of our restaurant list to order from.

However, since few months we have noticed a decline in their food taste and quality. We did bring it up to them few times and they mentioned the cook was different and they too noticed that, but promised that are going to improve and deliver like they used to. Unfortunately, its a pit their food quality and taste continued to get worse to a point that it was sent undercooked. When brought to their attention, they promised to replace it and offered to give better and more, only to keep us waiting and receive the minute amount. I replaced 2 dishes with no compensation or refund for one of them, and for the second only received 20% of it, despite being promised of replacing it not only fully but with more.

I am definitely going to miss what they used to deliver, but thankfully after their repeated failed service, I will not be ordering again!

Came here on Saturday night 26th July with hubby. Never tried afghan food , but I saw a video review, and it looked like it was worth a try. We were given a complimentary bowl of soup, and it was lovely. We ordered the sharing platter at £29.99 . It came, and it was absolutely delicious, full of different meats and lots of rice. A big bread, some side salad, a chilli dish, and a dip. It was huge! We couldn't eat it all, so we were given takeaway tubs to bring home. We also received a delicious sweet milky tea free , I could drink that all day long! And another complimentary dessert. It was amazing! Staff were really friendly, making you feel welcome and at ease. If you've never tried Afghanistan food, give it a go! I would definitely recommend it and will...
