Ray's Chicken — Restaurant in England

Always so sceptical with new openings, especially with the likes of nandos and KFC locally. However, we thought we'd give it a go.

Incredible!

I had a peri half chicken with 2 sides of chips (2 sides in the deal can both be chips, result!) which priced up at 7.35!

My better half had a large chicken wrap and we shared some of the recipe boneless fillets.

The half chicken was hot, well coated and as tasty as it gets. The portions of chicken were both hefty, making a nandos portion look rather skimpy (and this was almost £4 cheaper!)

The wrap was deep-filled, tasty and dare I say "moist".

We went to collect and the food was bagged up, ready to go when I arrived and the guys in there were happy to serve.

By the time we got it home, the chips were still crispy and the rest or the food was still hot off the grill.

We both ate like kings for £20 and enjoyed every second.

We pre-ordered for collection, picked up our order, and drove home (just 2 minutes away). Shortly after, the restaurant called to inform us they had forgotten part of our order and asked us to drive back—they did not offer to deliver the missing items.

When we returned to collect the missing part, I mentioned that our food had now gone cold. Rather than offering any goodwill gesture, they insisted the food “wouldn’t be cold.” Unfortunately, it was. Worse, when we reheated the food, the rice had clearly gone off—it tasted old and unpleasant.

I attempted to call the restaurant three times to address this, but my calls were ignored. It’s disappointing to be treated this way as a customer, especially after their mistake. I won’t be ordering...

First time ordered. Used Uber app. Pic of double burger for £7 only a single turns up. Fry's. Basically burger an Fry's £15 delivered. Chips were great the burger was disgusting, tons of grissle first bite made me wretch. I rang them asking where's the second burger and this supreme burger is full of grissle. They said I ordered a single (so they false advertising as it clearly shows 2 burgers) and they didn't care that the burger was disgusting they said they are cooked fresh there's nothing they could do and hung up. I will never eat or go there again! Absolutely disgusting and majorly over priced! A single cheese burger from maccas is more appealing and that's absolutely disgusting food! If I could give minus...
