Refresh Cafe - Platform 4 — Restaurant in England

After a rather circuitous journey from London Euston to Wrexham General, I ended up being routed via Crewe and Chester, due to flooding on the railway.

How wonderful to be greeted by a happy, smiley young lady called Veronica!

After all the hassle of trains and coaches, having a smile and a warm welcome absolutely made my day.

The bacon barm went down a treat, along with a tea, as it’s 3pm and I hadn’t eaten since last night.

A huge thank you to Veronica, who really has made my day so much less frustrating!

I wanted to give my money to the local cafe rather than the Costa monster, what a shame they gave us the worst Crappuccino I’ve had in a long long time! No head whatsoever, far too much milk, can’t taste the coffee, Costa next time as they don’t make muck like this! Asked for a drink and muffin deal, first he said he ran out of muffins and I pointed at the desk with clearly a lot of muffins. Then I said I’d like a choc muffin and a mocha.
