The Sea Fish & Chip Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Just had the worst dining experience in Blackpool at this disgusting restaurant run by totally unprofessional staff and a Manager called Lucian who was so ignorant and should not be employed anywhere in Blackpool. We ordered food and when it arrived to the table I said I ordered a tea the waitress shouted to me WHAT. She walked away to my disgust and when she did bring the tea down she said I DONT SPEAK ENGLISH. Then this manager hung over the counter shouting across the room to us . She doesn't speak English. We said she should not be allowed serve customers in that case. She proceeded to behind the counter and laugh at us being this managers back . We challenged him over this he then laughed. I requested a refund proceeded to tell him we were in the hotel business and how unprofessional he was he just said good for u. Have us our money back no apology just smart comments. I will never go back to this place or send my guest to this place again. AVOID IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Waited over half an hour for our food to be ready even though this chipshop was quiet especially at 9pm at night. The Cod fish ordered was advertised in the window as being the best fish and chips in town. Well they need reporting to trading standards for misleading information. The fish was tastless and tasted more like white fish. The batter was extremely thin and greasy and this was the only thing you tasted. The chips where lack lustre in taste and the peas dry with a sticky taste. £1.80 for a can of pop what a rip off. This Chippy is located opposite the church on church Street and you definitely need to keep walking on if your looking for a decent chippy. £8.40 for a small cod and chips what a rip off. 🤮 We ended up leaving most of the food. One last thing they won't allow customers who was eating in their restaurant to use the toilets they blocked off the gate at the top of the stairs...

Service & food to a very high standard. Cooked to order & red hot upon arrival at the table. Restaurant & W/C facilities very clean. Although we dined inside everything was presented in takeaway boxes due to the current Covid-19 hygiene guidelines I presume? Social distancing was observed whilst we were in the restaurant. If you use W/C facilities you have to give a contact number for track & trace just in case but at least you have the confidence as a customer that the staff are following the guidelines for hygiene/sanitation etc. A touch on the expensive side as everything is priced individually but it's worth it to spend more than go spend less elsewhere & be disappointed.
