Tortilla Bournemouth — Restaurant in England

I am appalled by Tortilla service in Bournemouth I am appalled by Tortilla service in Bournemouth and for non existing reply on my feedback. On 1st occasion they run out of beef at 7 pm and the only meat available left was a chicken but what happened yesterday left me shocked. At 5.30 pm no beef again and whoever is doing the ordering is not doing good job. This gentleman served (who later turned to be apparently a Manager and no badge with the name so the name he gave me was Duane and he wrote that on blue tissue paper as apparently didn’t have any paper to write on). I eat my burrito same every time and nobody ever questioned that or asked me a questions about it. It is always the beans, double beef, salsa,chilli sauce and sour cream. Yesterday the person claimed to be the Manager kept putting the pressure on me how it must be with rice, how burrito will fall apart (that’s why all burritos are wrapped in foil) and when I said how I do not eat rice , he still kept pushing and I told him I do not mind if my burrito falls apart but that’s how I eat them. He refused to serve me after, he was extremely rude and I can not believe that is an attitude of someone who apparently runs the place. Instead of making the burrito I would like , someone else came , I choose pork as they must be ordering brought beef in that place to do 1 , maximum 2 burritos per day. I decided not to have any burritos and left because how can this be allowed? It’s up to me what I would like in my burrito, I am paying customer and that shouldn’t be questioned. When I tried to add rewards before , always something wrong and they don’t go through. The one reward that I had on my account, for some reason they can’t not process as they are always some issues. I sent a feedback to Tortilla and nobody ever bothered to get back to me. I never had any problem in any Tortilla shop before but the service and lack of customer in Bournemouth one is absolutely appalling and...

Well I'm taking into account that it's a new store so I don't expect it to be perfect, but here's my honest review.

Me And my wife visited - I had a chicken burrito, and she had a vegetable quesadilla.

The Burrito wasn't bad, but in truth didn't really have anything that made it stand out from other Mexican places. Flavour was ok but dare I say fairly on the bland side, even with jalapenos and hot chilli sauce added - feels like the meat should be marinated in a sauce of some kind of something to make the flavour pop a bit more. Regardless I'd give the burrito a 5/10

My wife quesadilla however was absolutely disgraceful.

My understanding is that quesadillas are supposed to be toasted making it firm and crispy. Well the dude who made it put it in the toaster still wrapped in grease proof paper making that the result was simply a warm wet wrap that completely fell apart in the box.

Now I understand it may be company policy to cook them in the grease proof paper rather than it being the dude who made it's personal choice to perhaps save themselves time having to clean the machines more often (hence using the grease proof paper only explaination I could think of why they would do this??)..but unfortunately it just means that the food Did not toast at all, and it felt insulting paying £6.50 for a box with an uncooked soggy wrap and fallen out veggies in it.

We also had some nachos which were a huge disappointment...but it's nachos...what are you gonna do.

So overall, I'd give this place a 3/10 at the mo. I would potentially go back for another burrito down the line, but not hugely likely.

I've been so excited to come to this place since it opened and I can say for definite I will never be coming back.

First I was served by Maisie who had the biggest hickey on her neck which is extremely unprofessional and whoever allowed her to work with it should be talked to as well.

Secondly I watched Georgina pick something out of the sour cream with the spoon hit the spoon on the bin allowing the spoon to touch the top of the items in the bin and then place the spoon back into the sour cream....Disgusting!.

After telling her I'd seen what she did I asked for new sour cream were I was met with her saying they didn't have any. But my biggest disgust was Georgina continue to serve people this sour cream after I'd spoken to her. I had to go over again and tell her to remove it from the serving station.
