Zest Restaurant at Hoopers Torquay — Restaurant in England

Well, this place is for old local people and they like to keep it this way. My toddler and I happened to find it. He absolutely loves this place After multiple visits, unfortunately, all I can say is that their staff are not friendly and need a lot of training in various areas such as being up to date with international standards and being a family-friendly cafe.

Unfortunately, we left this place in tears ,despite being the son and mum date cafe for us for the past two years, and we will not return there again for obvious reasons. My son's half-term break was ruined thanks to the staff hospitality.

Feeling distracted...

We love to have our brunch in this place on the weekend sometimes. There is an amazing view over looking the harbour in Torquay. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. I love the coffee here, It is very creamy and tasty. The food is always well presented and of reasonable quality. The staff are gentle, polite and friendly. The only weakness of this place is that there is always a queue at the till. The coffee shop is on the top floor of the store. The store is quite pricey but it has good quality clothes...

It's a beautiful day in Torbay....walked to Goodrington and back and now in need of a nice late lunch. This restaurant is perfectly located on the top floor of Hoopers Department store with stunning views across Torbay. And the service and food are excellent. We had bacon, brie and chutney paninis which were delicious. Decent restaurants are few and far between these days but this place is certainly a cut above. Seating area is good.....just need to get rid of the awful...
