I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Bonnie Rogues Pub recently, and I feel compelled to share it. My friends and I bought non-alcoholic drinks, enjoyed them, and were simply vibing and enjoying the atmosphere on the dance floor. However, things took a turn for the worse when the staff and guards started treating us with blatant disrespect.

A particular runner was extremely rude and unprofessional. While we were dancing, he began pushing, poking his elbow at us, and even kicking us, which was completely uncalled for. The guards then started forcing us to buy more drinks, which is absurd considering we had already purchased non-alcoholic beverages. When I pointed this out, I was rudely told that we weren’t allowed to stand there unless we bought more drinks. One of the guards even said, “You’re just staring, so you should get lost.”

This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any establishment. The staff’s rude and aggressive demeanor completely ruined what could have been a fun night. Management seriously needs to re-evaluate their hiring and training process. The runner, bartenders, and security guards all displayed unprofessional and hostile attitudes that are not suited for customer service.

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless the management takes steps to address and improve the behavior of their staff. A truly disappointing...

Usually a nice place to have a drink on a night out, however a recent experience has soured me on the place. I got a bottle of house spirits on the ‘spin the wheel’. When it came time to claim the bottle, the staff were lovely, but the manager tried rejecting my free bottle card saying it was past its expiry date. The day he claimed was the expiry was in fact the day I received the card, 17th of July. After showing him that there is in fact no expiry date listed on the card and telling him I can prove it by showing that a photo I took of the free bottle card when I received it was taken on the same day the date on the card show, he went on to belittle me and my friends saying ‘you’re this stressed over a £12 bottle?’. We've been regulars at this place for a few weeks now, always come here after the gym just after 12pm for some food and a pint. Usually it's ok, food is great and the staff are usually great too. We went in today for our usual, we walked in at 12 on the dot and got told to leave and come back in 5 mins (even tho it's supposed to open at 12) we waited outside for 10 mins walked back in to have what I imagine was the shift manager or something talk to us like shit and demanded we leave and come back on 5 mins, bare in mind this was at 10 past 12. We walked out and eat and drunk somewhere else, won't go back if that particular employee is working again. We took our business somewhere else.
