A dull Easter Monday, but sitting next to the window the light reflecting off the paving outside brightened our day. Together with some scrumptious offerings including an Easter fudge brownie and a pineapple and mint smoothie. Always something here to tempt a cafe cynic like myself! And pleasant chats with customers and staff - it's the place to go in Kemptown!
It may be a bottleneck of an entrance, but there is a fair amount of space inside - which was necessary to use today because of the rain. And the scaffolding being in the way of erecting the parasols. And relax... the food makes you forget all little problems, the herbal flavours and great combinations. Read moreRevisited the place... Chai tea was very Milky. I returned there because the very first time I visited, the owner was there and was super friendly and staff seemed happier in themselves. Staff was not very happy to see us on this occasion (different faces) it seemed, and looked like they were closing up; when pointed out that google said it was Open until 5pm, one of them said their boss allowed them to close earlier.
