We recently had the pleasure of indulging in a truly remarkable culinary experience. From the very first bite, it was clear that every dish was crafted with passion and precision. The cornbread with chorizo was a standout – a perfect marriage of hearty, smoky flavours and tender, moist cornbread. It was the kind of dish that leaves you wishing for more, even after you're full. The tacos were nothing short of superb. The carnitas taco offered a delightful balance of rich, slow-cooked pork with just the right amount of seasoning, while the pollo taco was bursting with flavour – succulent, perfectly spiced chicken wrapped in a soft, warm tortilla. And then came the birria, a revelation of tender, juicy beef with deep, complex flavours that could only come from hours of careful preparation. Every bite was a testament to the chef's dedication to authenticity and excellence. In every sense, the food was superb. Every dish brought smiles to our table, and it’s unanimous: we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable dining experience! Pro tip: they will deliver to brew on the corner of the same row and that pub is happy for its customers to eat tacos while drinking their eccentric beers and their lovely coffee.

Took myself here as a little birthday treat while the rest of my family were at work/school during the day and it did not disappoint. I went for the 3 taco deal and tried their carnitas (pork), barbacoa (beef) and flor de plantano (deep fried banana blossom). All of them were amazing, and the carnitas and barbacoa felt really authentic, bringing back memories of my honeymoon in Mexico and the amazing food we got to eat there. The handmade tortillas were super soft and tasty and the pink pickled onions with the pork brought a fantastic extra dimension to them. The banana blossom though, was a revelation for me - I've never had it before but the batter was crispy, the flavour was amazing and all the extras in the taco just served to enhance this. I really need to have a crack at making something like these at home.... Highly recommended, and it's lovely that Brew round the corner have partnered with them so you can grab a beer and sit in there to enjoy the food. My only recommendation would be to make sure you grab napkins as things can get a bit messy when eating tacos!

Food For Cowboys are my favourite food place operating in Hull right now. Tastes absolutely transcendental and well worth the price. Genuinely high quality ingredients, thoughtful vegan options that suit the cuisine and not just a slimy cobbled-together mushroom option like most places. They're a kind bunch and were very attentive at an event I had at White Hart recently.

This place is amazing! I ordered three different tacos and each one was unique. They use proper corn tortillas. Sometimes with tacos you can feel you aren't getting value for money, that is not a concern here. They were full to the brim and the meat was succulent. They have a couple of tables outside but if it's a bit too cold for you they have partnered with Brew. This was really convenient, placed our order, popped a few doors down and ordered a beer, they even bring the food to you! Will 100% be coming back. I would have provided a photo but it was too...
