Great to see vegan options on the menu, especially as this is a new restaurant, and the main dishes can be ordered as veg curries too. Though it was difficult to inquire about the use of dairy ghee when ordering the veg dishes and fried rice, but the staff were very polite and friendly about it. The veg curries were £12 which is expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in the area (normally about £10), but we did save money by bringing our own wine. No alcohol is served here and the beers and wines on the menu are alcohol free. In terms of the food itself, the Pathia was my favourite for it's sweet and sour taste, and the dhal met my usual standards. The food wasn't spicy, so if you like spice I'd request it or order a spicy dish. The major downside to the food was the big chunks of garlic cloves in it that were pretty much cut in half! It was a challenge to eat it all, and we also had garlic rice with it too, so it was way too much garlic! There was also no vegan option for breads, I'd like to see chapatis or rotis on there in the future. Also think it would be useful to have allergen numbers next to the dishes on the menu. The atmosphere was okay but a bit hot, a fan or AC would help during summer. Really appreciated the takeaway box they gave us, we could choose how we wanted to put the food in and I had a great breakfast the next day :) Portions were quite generous too. Suggestions: thinner sliced garlic rotis or chapatis AC/fan during summer allergens...
Read moreTo be honest it is a 3.5 stars.. The food is good, portion size is really good. The service is quick. It is a new restaurant, so there is a need of improvement in their service. They apologized many times, as they didnt expect so much rush for delayed service. I guess they can do better with right training.
The servers were friendly and had a happy attitude. They also catered to our special request, so helpful too.
Strangest part our food came really quick, every other thing took longer.
Were really disappointed when couldn't try the dessert.

Although it was a little spicer than what I would normally have I thoroughly enjoyed it. So all I can say is yes definitely go and treat yourself you won't be disappointed 😊. Atmosphere lovely and relaxing, staff superb,...
