Well... Where to begin? Let's return to one week previous shall we? Hungry and looking for somewhere other than Wetherspoons the two weary site contractors stumbled upon a tempting Indian restaurant, which offered a decent Wednesday night banquet for a reasonable price. Elated our heroes entered the establishment and found it to be most welcoming and pleasantly decorated. The staff were also extremely pleasant and accommodating. After being seated, the hungry grafters ordered the banquet deal and a beer each. The poppadoms appeared quickly along with the beers. Crunchy and with a delicious pickle tray, the heroes were pleased. A starter of Sheek kebab arrived, this was also good. Two mains and sides with naan breads were served next. Outstandingly good! Happy and well fed our heroes wandered back to their lodgings wondering if Delhi belly would spoil the experience, fortunately it did not. 5/5 Fast forward to this week... Our hungry and weary heroes, excited for the Wednesday banquet, laughed and joked on the journey as they were assuredly going to dine well! The poppadoms and starters arrived and all was as expected. Then the mains arrived... The last time oil was witnessed on this scale was the Exxon Valdiz disaster. It was easy to imagine the few meager chicken pieces were the struggling seabird survivors trying desperately to wipe the foul oil from their bodies, the sauce was clearly the effluent foam which had churned and separated from it's original consistency. Even the part baked naan bread refused to absorb the oil slick. I would use the term disgusting but that would be far too generous, perhaps tragic would be more fitting. Anyway, our heroes walked home grumbling about how they needed to wear 3 pairs of boxers shorts in bed because of fear of a midnight fart turning to shart and being thankful they didn't order spicy dishes and having to witness the burning oil fields of Iraq in the morning.

Hi there, Thanks for reading my Google Review! My review is solely based on my experience. Therefore, the overall score will reflect both the positives and negatives without me mentioning the negatives (unless required) as each experience can be different. So...my review; We got the Sunday £16.95 which is a lot of food for the price nowadays. It was well worth it, and I happily would pay more. The food tasted great, wasn't spicy, but they could tailor to your spice. The customer service was exceptional, and the venue was clean and in a great location. We can't fault Bengal Dynasty. They did everything above 5 stars. I will be back for sure. Taste: 👍🏾 Value for Money: 👍🏾 Atmosphere: 👍🏾 Customer Service: 👍🏾 Menu: 👍🏾 Location: 👍🏾 Parking: 👍🏾 Would I recommend: 👍🏾

The food was absolutely sensational! The chicken tikka came out literally sizzling and was the tenderest, juiciest chicken tikka I have ever had! The restaurant had a proper curry house vibe to it in the best way possible, the atmosphere was amazing. My only negative was that the service was a little slow but the lovely waiters made the waid incredibly enjoyable and the endless barrage of poppadoms kept us very happy. Then the food was well worth the wait so I am still definitely giving 5 stars! What a place!

Rude Staff and Unwelcoming Atmosphere

I recently visited Bangla Dynasty hoping to have a pleasant dining experience with my family. Little did I know that this outing would turn into a nightmare, all thanks to the appalling behavior of the restaurant staff.

Upon arrival, we were initially greeted by a seemingly friendly staff member at the entrance who welcomed us inside. However, things took a turn for the worse when we mentioned that we didn't have a reservation. It was as if we had committed a grave offense that could never be forgiven. The staff member suddenly transformed into a rude and condescending individual.

Rather than politely informing us about the reservation policy or attempting to accommodate us in any way, the staff member proceeded to berate us for not planning ahead. They made us feel like we were undeserving of even stepping foot inside the restaurant without a reservation, despite the fact that the place was empty and there were clearly available tables.

The entire ordeal was humiliating, and we couldn't help but notice the other staff's uncomfortable glances as we were being reprimanded like disobedient children. The atmosphere quickly turned sour, leaving us feeling unwelcome and unwanted in what was supposed to be a reputable establishment.

Instead of handling the situation professionally and treating us with respect, the staff chose to humiliate us at the entrance. Their rudeness was beyond unacceptable, and it completely ruined our appetite and mood for the evening. We ended up leaving the restaurant and taking our business elsewhere, where we were treated with the courtesy and dignity that every customer deserves.

I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience was. The restaurant's lack of customer service and basic human decency is inexcusable. No one should be made to feel like a burden or an inconvenience for wanting to dine at an establishment that is open for business.

In light of this appalling treatment, I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. Unless you enjoy being treated like dirt and humiliated in front of other patrons, you'd be better off choosing a different dining option that values its customers and knows how to treat them with respect...
