I will never step foot in a Nando's again... On entering the place we waited a while for someone to greet us and show us to a table..noone came up to us...so we sat ourselves down at a table. Only to be told by a waiter that we shouldn't of just sat ourselves down ! Bearing in mind the place was practically empty.! The chap then proceeded to tell us that we had to order everything via the app 😡 We were with friends , so a group of 4...two could not get signal on their phones to scan the QR code.... eventually, after a lot of flaffing we finally placed our orders...starters eventually came for our friends but ours did not arrive till about 5 mins later....what is really annoying is all the deliveroo collections etc seemed to get priority over sat in guests 😡 We were still waiting for our drinks after we had the starters....which i have to say was the best part of the meal, we had the pitta with garlic & cheese. Drinks finally arrived then our mains.... I had the grilled chicken burger which was very tough & rubbery....chips were vile...coleslaw was ok though. We also had the chick le burger x 2 which wasn't much better than my grilled chicken..and friends plant burger was dry and tasteless. Not once did anyone come and ask if the food was OK...even though there was a lot of staff standing around doing nothing !
In my opinion , the service was poor, place wasn't particularly that clean and the fact you could not order your meal with an actual person was disgraceful.
Whole experience was diabolical and we all vowed we will never step foot into another Nandos anywhere !
Why 1• do you have to order through an app 2• why do all the deliveroo etc drives seem to get priority over anyone sat in the restaraunt.

However after my most recent visit, I really don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
There was a bit of a delay, which wasn’t an issue but when the food came out my chicken thighs in my wrap were a bit pink. I was so hungry and didn’t want to complain, I just ate them and risked it. I also ordered a wing roulette.
After eating one of the wings, I was a bit more concerned and stopped eating them. My mate, who I was sharing them with, also thought the same as we were both asking the other if the wings were cooked properly, which they weren’t.
They were fairly pale on the outside and very pink inside. Neither of us wanted to complain, but felt the need to say something.
The first waitress came over and we explained the situation. Her response was ‘that’s how they are supposed to be cooked’ and ‘would you prefer them well done’?
I took extreme umbrage to this as if we should be eating ‘medium rare’ chicken. I replied saying I don’t want ‘well done’ chicken, I would like ‘cooked’ chicken. I didn’t realise I needed to define how well cooked I wanted my chicken when I ordered.
For a place that pretty much only serves chicken, this is appalling.
Another waitress came over and offer us a discount, I wasn’t interested in getting any money back, I was just so appalled and just wanted to leave. She said her manager would come out but was dealing with a police situation, so was busy. She took my number and said they would call.
Still no call, 2 days later hence thought the need to write this review.

issue was when a orange stamp was being redeemed, the manager was very argumentative and at the same time patronising stating that the full price of sides is payable not the meal prices, which meant the saving was just £4.85 instead of the £6.90 which would been the cost of a Pita. Rather than trying to correct the obvious anomaly she wanted to try and charge me more by putting the order through a different way. In the end when she did put the items through correctly the net result after my challenge was neutral but instead wasted time and caused more issues! I’d suggest £6.90 deduction override fix would have been all that was required here!
no garlic bread in stock for the whole of Windsor, this I must say is ridiculous as it sounds, and is an example of poor inventory or planning on the managers part!
ordered a double chicken Pitta and was given a single, this was rectified but not without hassle.
ordered peri peri fries and received plain ones, the server did bring some peri salt but makes you wonder why it is so difficult for the cooks to actually follow the order requirements.
All in all a pretty negative experience (in my opinion) and the 1 star I awarded this place is pretty generous.
My suggestion is urgent staff retraining is required at this resultant, as the customer service is not up to...
