Absolutely terrible service from what should have been a good restaurant.
Phoned to order a takeaway, call was answered by a girl who had no interest in listening to the order. Was rushed throughout the call and felt as though I was a hassle to her throughout the call.
On collection of takeaway order we noticed one of the meals and the rice was incorrect on the receipt which we pointed out to the blonde girl behind the counter. We were originally told we HAD ordered the meal and once we continued to dispute this the girl grabbed our bag and began throwing it around whilst trying to un-tie the knotted carrier bag. She angrily took our meals out of the bag shuffling around for seemed like an age to get the wrong meal out. I tried to put her at ease by saying it’s ok mistakes happen etc; but she continued to be ignorant and rude.
Once she sent the dish to the kitchen to be replaced she left the rest of our order (£50+ order) on the counter getting cold. We went to the restaurant at 6.30pm, it took until 6.55pm for them to replace one meal. As expected the rest of the order was lukewarm, the green beans were wilted and completely inedible when we got them home.
The manager came to us whilst we waited and shouted “what’s your problem” at me to which I replied “nothing at all I’m just waiting on my order” .
None of the staff apologised or cared that the service was atrocious and both the staff that interacted with us implied that we were somehow at fault for the inept actions of the girl behind the counter.
We have been before and planned on going again but that has changed now owing to the way we were treated for simply ordering a meal on a Saturday night!

Read moreI was a regular of this restaurant, but I had a horrible experience today!! It makes me never want to go there again in my life. I went there with my friend, we decided to have a simple lunch together. I told the waitress table for two, and she was getting the menu. Me and my friend looked around the restaurant, only one table has been taken. And we were discussing that the table with sunshine would be good, it was a two seats table next to window, so we just walked towards there. Unexpectedly, the boss followed me behind, started to tell me that I can't go straight forward to a table, I can't choose my own seats, they have to lead me, and I have to wait at the reception, when there was only one tablet probably four people are eating in the entire restaurant. And when I tried to sit down, he started to give me a lecture with an annoying tone that I should have looked what is written next to the reception that I have to wait until the waiter leads me. I was angry with his attitude, and I asked my friend to go to another one. He started to shout at me and ask me to leave and go. I said I will never come back, and he was continuing to say something behind me, I didn't hear it clearly. I never had such a horrible experience in a restaurant in my life. Read moreMy family and a friend (12 people) dined here last night — we’ve been loyal customers for over 8 years and have always enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, this visit was ruined by the unacceptable attitude of the new manager.
We ordered 6 portions of rice initially (since 5 kids didn’t want rice and we ordered noodles for them), then later added 1 more. That means 7 portions in total. However, when the bill came, we were charged for 12 portions of rice (£36). When we questioned this, the manager said he could “just charge per head” because “your kids must have eaten at least one piece of rice”. However, we explained this is a miss communication on the restaurant side as we told the staff we just wanted one more rice.
Not only was this logic unreasonable, but his attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely out of line. He repeatedly tried to turn us down using his demanding voice, said 'he did not even need to discuss with us', insisted on his “final decision,” and even slammed the bill on the table at the end and walked away— over a £3 difference on a £211 bill. For a table that has supported this restaurant for years, this was both insulting and unprofessional.
