Ate there a few weeks ago. Arrived around 7pm-ish on a Sunday. Every table was occupied. Initially thought it was a good sign. Ordered our food around 7.25pm. . The 2 tables on either side of us also got irritable after some time and waitress offered them prawn crackers to fill their stomachs. So we also asked for prawn crackers to fill our young daughter. My wife and I got our soup around 7.55pm. Daughter didn't want soup. So she only had prawn crackers by this point. Few other tables also had problems with delays. Eventually, our main dishes came around 8.20pm, almost an hour after we ordered. My poor little girl had to wait that long! The next day she had school. So it wasn't like we had loads of time to hang around to chat. We just wanted to eat and then go home and put her to bed. When the food came, one of the dishes we ordered was mainly a stir fry veg dish. The veg was edible but rather crunchy (raw). I do stir fry myself at home. To fry veg to this degree, it doesn't take me 5 mins. Maybe even 3 mins with their commercial stoves. Why took so long? Probably couldn't cope with sheer number of people or lack of kitchen staff. The front of house staff didn't even want to get into a conversation where they had to apologise for delay as they were embarrassed by the kitchen. So no asking the customers how their meal was..."Was everything alright?" type questions. Definitely not going there again. At least not busy weekend. The other small Thai place up the road in Upper Mostyn is better for sure.

Had a terrible experience, we ordered vegan Pad Thai (which was on the menu) and asked her to repeat our order for 4 people, inspite of that, it had egg in it. When we confronted the issue with the person who took the order and asked if that could be changed, we were shouted at by the person taking our order stating that we didn't mention it was vegan after my daughter stated for it to be vegan 3 times. Someone then came from the kitchen and said it was vegetarian and not vegan. Clearly, one of the chefs and the person who took our order did not know what vegan food meant or what it was when we asked them. As for me, that's truly concerning and draws an issue with health and safety. The person who took our order continuously shouted at us after which the main head chef came out to apologise regarding the entire issue. We immediately asked for the bill and left. Extremely disappointed with the entire experience as we had visited for a family weekend getaway.

We’ve just been Thaitastic for our anniversary dinner. Staff were helpful to recommend Thai dishes to us. We had prawn crackers, Satay skewers, Tom Yum soup, massamen curry with beef and duck in tamarind sauce. We love the curry and the duck which were delicious x the tamarind sauce was tangy and perfect with pan-fried duck. I have tried the Tom Yum soup which was nice and mild spicy. It’s quite strange to have mushroom in this soup. Also, I wish if the shop could provide brown prawn crackers. As the white crackers are more Chinese flavour than Thai. I would say the brown one is more authentic. Please reserve a table in advance as it was quite busy. Overall the restaurant is brilliant and beautiful with bamboo and Thai floral decoration. I would recommend it to all of you.

Thaitastic is an absolute gem in the heart of Llandudno and a firm favourite of ours, whether we’re dining for business or simply enjoying a leisurely evening out. We’ve been visiting regularly for quite some time now, and every experience continues to be as impressive as the last.

The food is consistently excellent – beautifully cooked, bursting with authentic Thai flavour, and presented with care. Each dish reflects the skill and passion of the owner, who is a first-class chef and clearly takes great pride in offering something truly special. Whether you’re new to Thai cuisine or a long-time enthusiast, Thaitastic delivers a memorable meal every time.

The staff are without exception warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their attentive service contributes enormously to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that sets this restaurant apart. You’re always made to feel like a valued guest, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Following a full refurbishment and redecoration in February 2025, the interior is now more stylish and comfortable than ever, with tasteful décor that complements the charm of the place perfectly. The attention to detail is evident not only in the food and service, but also in the immaculate condition of the restaurant. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority – everything is spotless and maintained to the highest standards.

In short, Thaitastic is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some of the best Thai food in the UK. We cannot recommend it...

Sadly a disappointing experience. Shown to our table which was a bit greasy. My menu also had not been wiped clean. We waited too long to place our drinks order. This is one of my pet HATES. Drinks orders should ALWAYS BE TAKEN WHEN WE HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO OUR TABLE. I thought the starters came very quickly which made me suspicious. Was this freshly cooked or Pre prepped ? The Thai fish cakes were soft not crispy & crunchy. The side salad lacklustre and thin carrot juliennes dry. I requested my main beef curry to be medium to hot and it arrived Mild. Also it came with no onions or other vegetable ( other than diced potatoes) to give it some colour. The sticky rice Was tough on the outside and hard to portion. The men’s toilet was unpleasant. The soap dispenser was empty and contained something in the bottom that did not look nice. There were no paper towels and there was a square patch on the wall where I suspect the electric hand drier once resided. This then removed revealed a hole to The next door room. The drinks prep area and route to the downstairs toilet area was untidy, disorganised and open for all to view. They were very busy on the night I went, and I suspect will continue to be busy as we all continue to go back to normal. They really do need to up their...
