This is a small pub created in two adjoining Grade 2 listed 18th century Georgian cottages in Castle View, Leicester (which have been used by a clock maker and a fine art restorer in it's history). It was opened in May 2018 by De Montfort University for it's students and staff but is now open to the Public.
It is quite cosy - probably could hold about 20-25 people at a tight pinch. It has a "snug" room (on right) with tables and seating and a "bar" which is standing only with shelves on two of the walls to place your pint/drinks on.

Pub inside is a bit small but cosy and certainly full...

Steps to unisex toilets (the ground floor one can be less than desirable after some of the partially sighted males have been in!). Definitely not wheelchair friendly! Great cask ales, scotch eggs, pork pie sand crisps. Nice beer garden. No.7 is the attached cottage which is also part of the pub but accessed by leaving and entering via its own front door (turn both handles, which is tricky when carrying drinks!). Very quirky, very quaint, very...
