Absolutely perfect! Best café we have ever been to. Everything homemade. Beautiful cream of beetroot soup (the best soup I've ever had), cheese and onion toasty, and a lot of cake. We were quite greedy so tried a few: chocolate sponge layers with chocolate ganache / featherlight sponge topped with coconut cream and toasted coconut / warm plum and almond sponge / warm rhubarb crumble cake / more featherlight sponge topped with cheesecake cream, fresh berries and fruity jelly. Delicious coffee and the owner is absolutely lovely. Such care and attention to detail. Will definitely return....

Travelling around Scotland we Australians were so lucky to find this delightful coffee and cake shop in Dumfries. Mirka, the lovely owner, makes great quality cakes and slices.
