Buddy's — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Friendly service and the food not overly priced compared to the rest of the promenade. It took a while for our food to come out but then the wait was probably justified as the food seemed fresh and not out of a microwave or from frozen. Also, I didn't realise there was further seating on the other side of the building (beach front) and the customers there were also waiting on their orders. The food was tasty and hot. I ordered a breakfast baguette and the kids had a hot dog each. The option for onion was offered but the kids declined. Service was with a smile and we had no issues with the staff. Tables were clean and tidy as were the floors. This could of been by the wait staff or the seagulls awaiting dropped food by the plenty.

Overall a lovely little place to eat. Stop by!...

Mark and Mayzie awesome people at 5 stars, always friendly ... please pop by as his mother in law thinks he doesn't do enough adverts ..... that's why I am writing this , we ordered 4 doughnuts and got 5 freshly made perfectly made ,,,,, I am a bit of a foodie , the oil was perfect temp as those doughnuts were light and melt in your mouth , they aren't not like most that seem to drop with oil . I returned to get another ice for my daughter as she had dropped it in the sand ,Mayzie smiled and politely offered to let me have another at a discounted rate . The produce and service is on point , whenever I go to the beach I will be stopping there from now on , starting a family tradition ..... well done...

Mr Whippy from the machine tasted extremely sour and “fizzy”. When I took the inedible ice cream back to alert the server she “didn’t know what to say” about it. The product had clearly turned and/or the machine needs cleaning out. Didn’t offer a replacement. Even the flake tasted like it has sat in the open air.

She then tasted it and almost alarmingly said their ice cream always tasted like that and was fine? Think they need a visit from the health inspector, I would hate for anyone to become unwell from eating the ice cream, especially a child.

Donuts however were fine and the service the other side was kind and polite, both owned by Buddy’s, so...
