Teapot - Tea or Coffee — Restaurant in Leeds

I have been coming to Teapot for years and it has never disappointed. It's located towards the back of Kirkgate market food court, but you'll generally be able to tell quite easily by the wall of tea.

Staff have a great attitude and know-how, the selection of tea and coffee is really refined (yes, they will grind your coffee fresh for you there). You can even buy small 100g bags of fresh tea for friends or to sample, or you can scale up and restock for yourself. You do get a discount on ordering more at a time!

They have a takeaway counter too - try the hot chocolates and fresh coffee:)

I have visited this place and ordered tea from them numerous times and I am usual quite satisfied. However, whilst delivery is fast the quality of tea I have had sent to me the last two times has been poor quality. I recently ordered what was supposed to be premium organic matcha powder and what came was a very dull looking matcha powder, premium matcha should be a vibrant green not a dull khaki green. This suggests to me it is either old tea or a much lower grade tea. Sadly, I won't be ordering matcha from this...

What a wonderful little business we have in Leeds! We've bought from the shop in the past, and the staff are lovely, knowledgeable and helpful. During lockdown times, we placed an order online. It was hand delivered to our door free of charge by them! We got some lovely festive coffees for Christmas, which smell divine! We also bought a variety of loose leaf teas.
