Great Thai food,. Nice atmosphere, very nice staff. Amazing desert,. Coconut battered banana with ice-cream and syrup. Omg it's a dream,. a dream I tell you. Ok i gave them five stars 7 months ago, and my last meal which was about 2 weeks ago, the chicken Thai red curry was incredibly bland, very thick sauce and seemed to lack the flavours you come to expect of Thai food, the week before next door was better but the rice awful (incredibly sweet dripping in coconut milk), so we went to the Boathouse in Stratford upon Avon, absolutely lovely meal and servicr with a beautiful view, but sadly no great desert, lol I'm only going to drop 2 stars off them 1 for the food, no more because our parents fish meal was apparently lovely, the other star is for the waitress that I'm assuming is the owner, her dirty looks and attitude were rude and completely uncalled for, I told them the red curry wasn't very good at all. I might give them one more chance as they are more local. But this could easily turn into 1 star from me and the same from the other 3 people that come with us. So...

This was our regular Thai. Even though we have to travel 45mins and it is more expensive than others it was always worth it for the food quality. We had the usual mixed platter for two. The manager came over and asked how was the meal, which at this point we had only tried the vegetable dish which was lovely. The chicken dish was far too salty and the green curry was so spicy hot it was unpalatable. We mentioned it to the server but didn’t cause a fuss as it’s our regular and just put it down to a bad meal. I asked for the bill and when I went to pay they said how was your food, I said poor. They said let me see if I can get something taken off the bill. The manager said no because we had told him the meal was fine. After a bad experience at Ask Italian, me and my partner came here for a meal as the outside looked beautiful and caught our attention. Upon arrival, there was already someone there to welcome us in and take us to our seat. They handed us food and drinks menus and left us for about 5-10 minutes before coming back and taking our order. The menu has a large variety and all sounded delicious it was so hard to choose! I had a red curry and it was absolutely divine. The taste was so authentic and as someone who has been to Thailand multiple times before, you can tell the care and experience that is put into the food. The price is very reasonable as you can tell that the food used is such high quality, and the dessert was absolutely beautiful. I will 100% be visiting Mama Thai again and again and could not praise the kind staff, amazing food, and sufficient service...
