I had the absolute pleasure of dining at A Tavola da Maria nearly every day for two weeks, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable culinary experiences in Liverpool UK. Each day, I simply asked Maria, the incredibly talented chef and owner, to surprise me with something new, and every single time, she delivered magic. Every dish was a masterpiece: unique, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor. My partner and I visited yesterday for the cooking masterclass they hold every Sunday. We had such a brilliant time that I wanted to write this review.

We were with 9 other people and it was a really enjoyable atmosphere throughout - Maria taught us how to make fresh ravioli from scratch, then added them to a butter and sage sauce with a pumpkin-filling. Maria was extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic teacher - the food was beautiful, although unsurprisingly mine looked different to everyone elses! They also gave us wine and snacks as we cooked. Such a fun and educational way to spend nearly three hours.

To top it off, I'd mentioned when booking that it was an anniversary surprise for my girlfriend and Maria very kindly gave us a dessert and wine to celebrate afterwards, which was so so lovely! Completely unexpected and topped off a great afternoon.

had the most amazing date night & it was so good we came back the next night. why go somewhere else when you know its good right 😉Claudia & Joy spoiled us rotten. the friendly fun atmosphere was so welcoming. the Zac modified a desert cocktail to accommodate my allergies & came to chat to us later. when you might not see your partner again for weeks, these nights are really important. joy made our last night so special. thank you all for taking such amazing care of us.the food is absolutely outstanding. so fresh & value for money.
