What a fab spot! My wife and I have been here 2/3 times. Yesterday we went with my sister and brother in-law. There’s always a good atmosphere and quite popular. They have around 8-12 food and drink stalls to choose from. You can order on your phone using QR code on one of the several tables. Despite it being busy, you can usually get a table as there are plenty inside and out. They sometimes have live music and there is a massive screen for live events. Staff are pretty swift and on the ball. Now down to the food. There’s plenty to choose from so it took me a while to finally decide. I ended up getting probably too much although I did finish everything. I got these salt and pepper loaded hash from Patterson’s Chicken, which tasted awesome. My wife also got loaded katsu chicken fries from them too which she really enjoyed. I was really looking forward to some Halloumi fries so I got some from Hafla Hafla but they were very disappointing. I was quite thankful that they didn’t give you as much as in the picture because they weren’t that nice. I usually like tahini but this one tasted foul and ruined the fries. I also felt the Halloumi wasn’t very firm and was quite gooey. I didn’t get any taste of mint which was advertised. However, these BBQ glazed Chicky Nugz from Richie’s Burgers were bangin’. The sauce was delicious and the chicken was well cooked and tender. I also got some Tequenos from Noso which rolled up pastry filled with the special cheese. These were really nice. Even tastier when dipped into the garlic dip provided. My last savoury dish was these fried beef ragu bites from La Bistrotheque which were good. Finally for dessert we all got something from midnight delivery. I got this kinder donut stack which was ok. It looked better than it tasted. It was very sweet and the donuts were more like buns as they were too soft and tasteless. It tasted very artificial. Although, I don’t know why I was expecting a tasty donut. My wife got a cookie sandwich which was better than mines. My sister got a chocolate orange lava cake which was decent and so was the Daim cheesecake my brother in-law got. I feel that MD doesn’t have the best quality but I like how they have different specials so you can try something different. Overall we enjoyed our little visit here. The service was faster than we anticipated and the food was mostly good. I did find that some of it was quite expensive. My brother ordered 2 glasses of coke which was £8! The most expensive item I ordered was the Halloumi fries at £7.95 which was my least favourite. We’ll for sure come back. I want to try the Greek food. They were unfortunately not open when we were there.

Great atmosphere with nice food but the service was mixed. I’ve always wanted to visit this food market since it first opened and it’s received lots of positive reviews over the years. It’s just been a bit inconvenient location-wise. This food market is located near the city centre, around 20-25 minutes walk from Lime Street train station. Luckily this food market reopened and is participating in the eat out to help out food scheme so there’s 50% off food and drinks. The first thing to note is that there is a massive queue to gain entry, I arrived around 5pm expecting there to be a queue and it was longer than I expected, I waited around 45mins before I managed to enter. To order you need to scan a bar code before entry to allow them to know you’re in the food market. After that you order through the Uber eats app, using the dine-in option. There wasn’t many options for food surprisingly, six or seven restaurants if I recall correctly. I’m not sure whether this was because of the pandemic or whether it is normally the selected restaurants. I ordered a pint of lemonade for drinks, it took a while to arrive since there’s a lot of people in the market, my food actually arrived first. The lemonade had too much ice too so the drink was actually less than a pint. I ordered the ‘peppercorn’ from ‘beef on the block’ which usually costs £10. The steak was cooked rare and it was juicy and tender. The peppercorn sauce is a classic and there were plenty of fries. I really enjoyed this dish. I also ordered the ‘Korean fried chicken (Gangnam Style)’ from ‘little korea’ which usually costs £8.50. The fried chicken wasn’t the best Korean fried chicken I’ve tasted and the rice was meant to be sticky but it seemed like it was just plain rice. Overall, the sweet and spicy sauce was nice but the chicken and rice wasn’t as good. I wouldn’t order from there again. Later, I ordered a pint of coke to drink while I was finishing my food, as I had finished the lemonade I ordered. The coke arrived very late and I had already finished my food. So the drinks orders were very slow to arrive. Overall, I loved the steak with fries from beef on the block but the Korean food wasn’t as good and the drinks service was very slow. Prices are a bit on the pricey side but this is coming from a student’s point of view. There aren’t a great number of options for food, no options for dessert either. I would like to come back again in the future and see if there are any different restaurants.

Baltic Market Review – A Must-Visit Gem in Liverpool! The Baltic Market is easily one of Liverpool’s best spots for food, drinks, and good vibes. Whether you’re popping in with mates or planning a fun date night, this place ticks all the boxes. Located in the vibrant Baltic Triangle, it’s a hub of energy, flavour, and music that gives you that laid-back but lively feel. One standout outlet you have to try is The Nashville Cluck. Their loaded fries with spicy chicken are nothing short of a masterpiece. Crispy, golden fries piled high with tender, fiery chicken, all drenched in a smooth, flavour-packed sauce—it’s the kind of dish that has you licking your fingers and going back for more before you’ve even finished. It’s the perfect mix of heat, crunch, and creamy goodness. What makes the Baltic Market even better is the service style. You can either order directly at the stalls if you fancy a chat with the vendors, or kick back at your table and order everything from your phone—super easy and perfect for groups. The atmosphere is buzzing, with communal seating, live music on some nights, and a mix of people just out to have a great time. It's casual but cool, and always welcoming. If you're in Liverpool and haven't been to the Baltic Market yet, you're missing out big time. Grab those loaded fries from The Nashville Cluck and thank me later.

A great and lively eatery offering an eclectic source of various types of food, accompanied by multiple different bars to suit the fancy of any of its patrons. The ability to place your orders via your mobile, while COVID-safe, means that as at a social gathering type meal, everybody will be nose-first into their smartphones right at the beginning, which isn't very beneficial. I am forced to compare this place to the nearby Duke Street Market, which facilitates the same gimmick and in my opinion does it better. Addressing their QR-Code restricted menus, the inability to order from different restaurants (ex. Fried chicken place + beer bar) at the same time results in having to back out, refresh, re-input card details, all just to get a drink with your meal. Duke Street does not suffer from this oversight and so gets the win from me. The food was great, the service was great, and to compare one final time, the setting of Baltic Market in an old warehouse-type building does lend itself well to social eating in large groups. But then, as a result of this, some of the tables are wobbly due to the unstable flooring, which one expects to find in an old dock warehouse. To sum up, I recommend this place for the food, but for the overall setting, maybe try your luck at Duke Street Market instead. It's not too far.

Here, think casual grunge hidden at the back of a brewery in a warehouse with picnic tables, a photobooth and food to suit everyone's palette. It's not high end but the food is quality and epitomises all the great things about street food and the sharing is caring mentality. The cheesy jalapeno fries from Richie's Burgs was crinkle cut happiness in a bowl. And breaking all the rules from traditional in the best kind of way, the lamb kebab from Hafla Hafla was modern Middle Eastern goals with every bite literally melting in your mouth. La French Dip was a bit basic for the price but the consume was a nice thick gravy that impressed me. But the winner was the Nashville famous chicken burger from the Nashville Cluck. It might not look much but this was crispy chicken breast heaven! It's rare to find such a juicy chicken breast done right in any circumstance, let alone double battered and Nashville hot packing flavour and punch! With Box Park just recently opening on the same site, don't stop short and forget about these guys because they are definitely worth the visit at least once!

Have been here a few times now & never been disappointed. Always like to try something different food wise & this time I tried a potato dish, with grilled chicken, refried beans, onions & some nice Chipotle sauce over the top - very, very nice!! You can either order from the 'Restaurant/Cafe' at the till or use the QR code on your table & they will bring the food direct to you. The only downside for me is the price - maybe it's just me but I think wherever you order from they are just a little bit overpriced.....however, all the food is of a good standard & you can also buy alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks from the bar. Desserts are also taken care of in their own section & the atmosphere day or night is always friendly & fun. If you want something a bit different with a great choice of foods its a great place to come to.
