Futoon, Noura, and the staff at Yamama did an amazing job catering for a birthday event over the weekend. We had a buffet-style setup with dishes from the menu and off the menu, which was a nice touch as we had a child in attendance, and the celebrant had a special request for his favorite dish (lamb tagine - well executed and even gave him his own portion!).

We were welcomed with a choice of mocktails, and the food quality was top-notch too. It was a great spread, and the amount was perfect for us all. The desserts were stunning, and we asked for baklava as an extra, and they delivered on this. An external cake supplier made a mistake on the cake, and the team managed to fix it up. No one noticed that there was an issue to begin with!

In the past, I have visited for coffee and light food and have always been greeted with smiles. You can expect a lovely atmosphere, tasty food & drinks and friendly staff. I highly recommend coming here and supporting this lovely business belonging to the sisters,...

The warm and inviting ambiance creates the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

The menu boasts a fantastic array of dishes, but the coffee and pastries truly stole the show for me. The coffee was rich and aromatic, complementing the delectable pastries that were nothing short of heavenly. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I found myself savoring every moment.

The attention to detail in both presentation and taste is evident, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant.

Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a place to indulge in mouthwatering pastries, Yanama Café and Bar is a hidden gem that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a culinary haven with a perfect blend of ambiance and excellent food. Can't wait for my next...

Whatever I may say will not be enough to describe this place. Very warm and cozy atmosphere, a very welcoming place. Really nice and relaxing music. Even though I'm not a fan of jazz, I really enjoy the music there. The staff is always so nice, explaining every dish on the menu and always around for whatever needed. Now the food... Everything is made with fresh ingredients, really flavourful. But above this, the main ingredient in all the dishes is love. Everything is made with love and care. The whole place is run like this and it shows in everything these lovely people do. I think I have tried almost everything from the menu. And it's so hard to choose because everything is absolutely delicious! Yamama is my place to go both to relax and refill my batteries. See...

10/10 for everything. Stumbled upon Yamama whilst visiting some markets in the Baltic triangle and decided to pop in for lunch. Me and my friend both said that we haven’t had such good tasting food in a long time after this lunch. I got the sautéed mushrooms & poached eggs that sit on top of hummus and sour dough toast with a dressing that the owners grandmother makes (how cute). It was amazing! The service was great too and in the hour we were there wasn’t an empty table but the service was still brilliant. We chatted to the owner as we paid and she was lovely. It’s really nice to support an independent restaurant that’s family owned. This will definitely be a new regular for us. Also the price point was amazing!! For a drink and lovely brunch cost us less than £13 each.

Yamama is a lovely, peaceful café with amazing dishes that truly satisfy your hunger. The dish I had was beautifully presented—Instagram-worthy yet equally delicious. The flat white was smooth, not sour, and paired well with milk. As for the pistachio latte, it was an interesting new experience, though a bit too sweet for my taste. I arrived around 2 PM, and most of the baked goods were already gone, so I didn’t get a chance to try them—definitely something to keep in mind if you’re coming for pastries! The staff were very friendly, and the café offers both Wi-Fi and a restroom. I’d definitely return, whether to enjoy a quiet moment with my laptop or a book, or simply to indulge in another delicious meal.

I loved my matcha latte, bitter and sweet enough, and my wife her decaf latte with coconut milk. We both loved the beef pastrami on sourdough toast with added pouched eggs, quite a unique taste yet well balanced in flavours and texture. We came here for the pistachio croissant, and ordered to take that away. We tasted the pistachio sauce and enjoyed it so much we decided to buy another one. The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. I'd say the toilet needs some TLC, but apart from that, this cafe is a MUST TRY for a trip into Liverpool. We came from Glasgow and have been trying all the Michelin guide restaurants here. This place still deserves a visit on our next trip here 😝
