St. James in the City — Attraction in Liverpool

I have been going to this church for a number of years and I have enquired about house groups for around 6 times online, and nearly every time I have asked to join a house group I got ignored, even when I ask in person I am told someone will get back to me but no one ever did. Eventually there were about 2 occasions when someone there got back to me about this, however I still feel ignored. Their services are good but I feel they somewhat lack certain social skills even though they are friendly. However that said, the amount of energy, thought, effort and enthusiasm injected into church activities and practices, married with an appropriate grounding in tradition, for the most part has ensured that the services themselves are fairly intellectually satisfying and not contaminated as much by the manipulative emotionalism that inhabits most contemporary-style churches. Perhaps even more surprising: people actually do appear to care about each other...

On your way to the cathedral you might just run into this church it is worth taking a few minutes to get a few shots.
