Has a lot of potential to be great but I think it's still finding it's way..... Firstly, it's not really fair to take aconclusive view until I've dined at BOXPARK so this review is only based on having a drink. The place itself is really smart and has excellent acoustics, plenty of bars, seating (inside and out), and lots street food pods. Across the venue there a multiple screens showing sporting events, like the euros. This is where I think the venue has massive potential as the viewing experience from all angles was excellent. However, there was a few 'oddities' which is why I think this place is still trying to find it's identity. To explain, the football was on (great) but there was also a live band on stage (also great but singing in front of the main screen.....?). Outside the music playing on the speakers (very loudly) was different to the live music inside the venue (so every time the door from inside to outside opened you were treated to that random two room nightclub scenario). The online app to order drinks didn't work no matter what I tried so I think this might need looking at. While I'm no app expert, I am fairly tech savvy and this ordering app was definitely buggy. I gave up in the end and just reverted to the old fashioned approach of walking to a bar (which was fine).

In summary, I did like BOXPARK Liverpool and will return. However, I do also think it needs to try and sort it's current identity. Less is definitely more when it comes to street food and minimalist dining. But I do think this place is awesome and would encourage everyone to...

Oh. My. GOD. Can we just take a moment to talk about the absolute queen that is Abbie at Boxpark?! Babe, she is FABULOUS. From the second I sashayed up to the bar, she was serving looks, vibes, and the kind of energy that makes you want to cancel all your plans and just live at Boxpark forever.

First of all, let’s discuss her drink-pouring skills. I swear, watching Abbie make a cocktail is like witnessing a Renaissance artist at work. With every flick of her wrist, she poured those drinks like she was blessing the entire LGBTQ+ community with liquid happiness. I was genuinely considering proposing marriage by the third round.

But honey, it’s not just about the drinks—it’s the service. She made every single person feel like a VIP, especially us queer babes. The way she hyped us up? Calling us sexy, showering us with love, making sure we were all hydrated and thriving—an icon. I felt like I was in a gay bar in Ibiza, being worshipped by a goddess in human form.

Honestly, if Boxpark doesn’t put up a glittering plaque with “Abbie – LGBTQ+ Legend” on it, I’ll riot. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel seen, celebrated, and slightly tipsy (in the best possible way). Abbie, you sexy, sassy, sparkly angel—NEVER...

Won on the bingo 5 weeks ago and still yet to receive my winnings from Boxpark, been absolutely scammed. Advertised as a cash prize. Then was told to give my bank details on a form, which I did, was told the winnings would go in 5 days. Didnt happen, went into the establishment to ask because no reply via email, told I would get an email from finance department, didnt happen.

Rang them after I didn't receive any email from their finance department. Told it takes 4 weeks until pay out, rang after 4 weeks to be told it's actually 6 weeks. Why don't you just admit that you're not going to pay the money? It's an absolute joke. I'm so disappointed, it's not even about the money anymore, it's the audacity to mess people around.

Reply: Hi alex Thanks for your response, I don't feel comfortable putting my contact details on a public site. Could you give me an email or direct number for you as I have tried to email the one that is advertised on your website and I had...

Nice place to visit but the food was awful, I had nausea till the next day. Ordered food from Simply Salt N Pepper, the pork was over salty, overcooked and too much sauce definitely disgusting, the coconut rice only smelled of coconut and didn't taste of rice....definitely avoid this food stand... Had food also from Yoki Social table that was slightly better but the fried chicken had a lot of coating and not much meat so it only seemed big for the visuals, taking out all the coating it was a tiny piece of chicken... Overall the food wasn't great and prices were quite high considering we are near the docks, I'll be going somewhere else next time...

Most drinks are two for one if you arrive Monday to Friday before 8 pm - this includes cocktails which were delicious!! There are several food stands to choose from - I had the Korean option which was £14 but the portion was reasonable. There are lots of bartenders and security staff. We received some response for free that allowed us into the dance area upstairs. This was surprisingly lively and the music was great.
