Bon cafe — Restaurant in Liverpool

After a pleasant lunch with my 2 friends and assistance dog on Saturday I went back on Monday with 8 friends and my assistance dog and was treated appallingly by a man working there who aggressively told me my dog wasn't allowed... there was only 2 other people in the cafe separate from my table who were both fine with my small dog. The rude man in question went and got the manager, who's attitude was also unfriendly. I was told it was a community cafe but obviously me and my 8 friends didnt fit in with the owners idea of community. The bad attitude and unprofessional nature of these men and 1 of the female members of staff ruined my birthday lunch and he also talked himself out of at least £150 worth of trade. I had already recommended the place to over 4000 followers and as I work in tourism in the city could have sent so much business their way... I have now retracted my recommendations for the place and told people...

We have no idea how this got such good reviews. Even the guy serving us said he thought they were all fake. Hardly anything on the menu was available. This wasnt communicated to us until we tried to other. Then when we did order something it still wasnt what was on the menu. We were with two friends for the evening and they got their food and had eaten it way before we got ours. Its must have been nearly an hour. Then what we got wasnt what we ordered. The food in itself was tasty enough but it just all seems poorly managed. There was a lovely young lad there trying to help us and he did the best he could under the circumstances but a lot was out of his control. I feel like it may be a bit of Russian roulette when you chance upon a good day when they have food in stock and...

I ordered the Lamb chops with chips on a Sunday. The lamb was tasty and cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were buttery, crispy, mildly sweet, but also salty -- tasty! The plate only cost 14lb. Overall, the meal I ordered was of very good quality, and could have been served at a higher-end restaurant. The interior of the cafe/restaurant was kept fairly clean, and the atmosphere is very casual and chill -- some local customers were sitting and drinking coffee and watching a football game on a big screen.
