Today we decided to have our breakfast at your place. As you also let dogs in we took our little one with you. Excited to receive our order we were looking forward to have our omlettes. Your menue says it will come with a a sourdough bread and you can choose one between different options. My partner went for the spinach one with an extra portion of mushrooms. I went for the salmon one. We received our order without the mushrooms. After a while one of your waitress came to our table and asked if everything is ok. We mentioned that we orderred an additional portion of mushrooms but did not received it. Furthermore we mentioned our disappointment that it is not with the offerred sourdough bread, i have shown that this bread was normal sliced toasted white toastbread. She apologised and went to the kitchen to clarify. She came back with the mushrooms and told us that those white bread toast are sourdough. ??? We left it like that. When we finished I asked for the bill and paid the amount on the receipt. When she left I looked on it and seen that we were charched for the mushrooms £1.50, which is correct, and for the salmon an extra £3.00. I went to the bar to talk to what it looked like a senior waitress, or maybe the owner. I explaint that we did not received the correct bread as well that been told that that white toast were sourdough. Additional I complained being charched for the salmon, which should be included in the second omlette price. She apologised for the extra charge and the mistake being made for the extra charge. She refunded me by giving the change cash in my hand. I took it and when I went back to the table wanted to give it to my partner, realised that it was a £2 coin and a 50p coin. So disappointed about the handling, we left the £2.50 on the table and left. Defenetly never come back and also telling all our families, friends and working colleagues about our experience. As well we will leave a review on trustpilot and google review.

By the way, the omlette taste was good as well the coffee even though I orderred hot milk with my first americano but deliverred with cold milk.

I visited this bar for my friend’s 21st birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a venue. From the moment we arrived, we were met with nothing but rudeness and incompetence from one particular staff member.

I initially found a table and asked if it was table or bar service. The bartender said he could take my order if I was ready, so I proceeded. As he was retrieving the bottle of wine, a blonde male employee with glasses and a headband came over, interrupted, and demanded my ID. No problem—I went to grab it from the table, but he followed me and then insisted that he needed both mine and my friend’s ID.

After checking our IDs, instead of processing our order, he walked away, whispered to another staff member behind the bar, and then completely ignored me when I attempted to pay. A few minutes later, I noticed him standing outside with what seemed to be his friends, only to return inside and ask for our IDs again, this time claiming they were fake.

At this point, my friend—whose 21st birthday it literally was—had to physically show him how to verify a real ID using UV reflection because, clearly, this employee had no clue what he was doing. No apology, no acknowledgment of his mistake—just a miserable attitude that made us feel completely unwelcome. Meanwhile, a customer at a nearby table was actually polite and wished my friend a happy birthday, a basic level of courtesy that this guy couldn’t manage.

The final straw? When we decided to leave and go somewhere that actually knows how to check IDs properly, this staff member laughed at us. Completely unprofessional and absolutely unfit to work in hospitality.

Thankfully, we went to Albert’s Schloss, where the staff were not only competent but actually knew how to provide good service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy being treated with suspicion and disrespect for no reason. Avoid...

100000/10 I booked the cinema room in the back as a surprise for my partners 30th (9/12/23) birthday, there was a bit of a miscommunication on dates, I wanted Saturday 9th of Dec but staff thought I asked for September 9th and obviously booking out a whole room at Xmas time isnt the best; but Abbie was an absolute pro, she shuffled things around and got me booked in on the Sunday as a compromise. Abbie was so helpful, lovely and just a bloomim super star, I anxious emailed to clarify things and she just was so sweet 🌟 The day went so smooth thanks to Lili, Abbie, Saff, Samya and Amelia- they couldn't have been more lovely and helpful, all the folks attending just thought they were the best, it was busy while we were there and they were rocking it, and still pushed the boat out to make it a special day 💚 My partner was jus over the moon, everyone who came to surprise him had an absolute ball, and they want to do it again for their own family!
