Just popped in for a quick lunch on the go. Ordered on the app and went through the drive thru. After waiting for 5 minutes staring at a closed drive thru window the window opened and the person at the window told me to park at the front of the store to wait.
After pulling up and watching 5 or 6 cars go past with their food we looked at the clock a further 15 minutes had passed. One of the staff came to the car and asked why we were parked there (it was at this point it became clear that they had forgotten about us.) I went inside to complain and to search for the elusive meal.
After showing my receipt to the server and asking for my meal, I stood watching at least 3 other people receive their orders. Still no sign of the manager, I asked again. The servers just nodded, said yes and then ...... Stood there. Eventually my food arrived and I gave up waiting for the manager. I brought the food back to the car at which point the cardboard drinks carrier tore in my hands and my drinks went everywhere. I went back inside and asked to speak to the manager again. 5 minutes later the manager came to the front of the store. I showed her the receipt and told her that we'd been forgotten and had been waiting for over 20 minutes.
She then told me that the chicken takes 20 minutes to cook and that was the reason for the delay. I doubted this originally as I'd seen numerous people receive their orders and I find it unlikely that several families came to KFC just to get a corn on the cobb. Also because this was at the beginning of lunch time and to have ran out of chicken to the point of needing to cook more would be absurd time and resource management.
They replaced my drinks and I headed home, a mere mile and a half away in the car, expecting the freshest tastiest chicken I'd ever had the pleasure of eating. After all this had been freshly cooked and served to me only moments ago.
We placed our order at 12:11 and left the KFC at 12:50 so were more than slightly annoyed that the phrase 'fast food ' was only 50% correct. But the anticipation of hot chickeny goodness was the silver lining. We got home and plated everything up to find that not only was half our order missing but also the chicken and chips were both stone cold and drier than an evaporated Sauvignon blanc in the Atacoma desert being drunk by a dehydrated Jack Dee.
Really disappointed as this KFC are normally quite good and whenever we've had an issue the normal manager makes it right but today's experience has left a really bad taste in the mouth 50...

I recently visited KFC with high hopes for a delicious meal, but my experience left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. Here are the reasons why I can't recommend KFC based on my visit:
Poor Customer Service: The first thing that struck me was the lackluster customer service. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity just to place my order, and when I had questions about the menu, the employees seemed annoyed.
Long Wait Times: After placing my order, I had to wait an unreasonably long time for my food to be ready. It felt like an eternity, and there was no communication or apology for the delay.
Unappetising Food Presentation: When my order finally arrived, the presentation was underwhelming. The food looked like it had been hastily thrown together, with no care for presentation. It was not the mouthwatering sight I expected from a fast-food restaurant.
Cold and Greasy Food: To make matters worse, the food was disappointingly cold. The chicken was soggy and excessively greasy, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. It was far from the fresh and crispy chicken I was hoping for.
Incorrect Order: To top it all off, my order was incorrect. I specifically requested certain items and received something entirely different. It was frustrating to have to go back to the counter and wait again for the correct order.
Dirty Dining Area: The dining area was far from clean and inviting. Tables were sticky, and there were food crumbs and trash scattered around. It was not a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal.
Overpriced for the Quality: Considering the subpar quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices at KFC felt unreasonably high. I expected better value for my money.
In conclusion, my recent visit to KFC was a regrettable experience filled with poor customer service, long wait times, unappetising food, incorrect orders, and a dirty dining area. I left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied, and I won't be returning to KFC anytime soon. There are plenty of other fast-food options that offer better service and...
Read moreThis is a follow-up review to a complaint made to KFC following my visit to this branch.
Setting the scene, my family ordered a colonel's special 10 piece wicked variety bucket. It has 10 piece of chicken, 8 hot wings, 4 chicken strips and 4 bags fries.
The sizes of the chicken were so small that they were smaller than the hot wings.
I felt cheated, robed and scammed off. I complained to KFC sending them the picture you see below as evidence. I expressed my disgust.
Well......KFC replied- "Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us here at KFC and providing us with feedback about your experience at our Liverpool - Chaloner Street restaurant. We love to hear from our customers as it helps us to focus on the things that matter most.
Firstly, we would like to apologise that on this occasion we did not meet the high standards that we always pride ourselves on. Something has clearly gone wrong here, as we expect everything on our menu to be really tasty and exceed your expectations every time!
Thank you for working with us on this, and please rest assured that we will be addressing your concerns directly with the restaurant that you visited. In addition, the Area Coach, Christine will be back in the restaurant again very soon to ensure we are maintaining our usual high standards.
We really hope that in the meantime you'll give us the opportunity to serve you something from our tasty menu again.
Best wishes on behalf of all of us at KFC"
The fact that they admit/agree that I was robbed is amazing. However, no sign of a refund or replacement meal. Not only a robbery by the shop but a robbery by the company offices too..
No compensation, just an apology.
From time to time there are problems with some branches of KFC where even the staff are rude to customers (Manchester near old trafford for example) but the management seem to condone such behaviour. They have now decided to blatant robing...
