How obvious can a case of discrimination be?!? Was about to go in however was stopped by the security which is fine of course, we showed some ids and explained we will not be staying at the bar. Instead, we just want to go to the arcade however even after showing ids we were stopped and told we could not go as a 17 year old cannot enter the arcade after 6pm even though the parents were present. It was all fine until we saw an actual 10 year old lad even though it was around 8pm and when we asked how come he is still here if they ask every minor to leave after 6pm??? Have had mixed results with this place. Went out for my stag on a weekend, great atmosphere, great bar staff - smiling, chatty, good vibes. Made for a good, more chilled stopping point on our rounds. The food was decent, the drinks were interesting. After this experience I would have recommended this place to anyone. However, fast forward to tuesday afternoon, my wife and I go in, bar staff don't say a word to us, resorting to a blank stare, like I was the stupid one, when asked whether they were taking orders, rude to say the least. Toilet doors wouldn't lock, toilet paper dispensers were broken with paper everywhere. The pub is great but your bar staff aren't. I know the match was on and the bar was packed, but the bar staff need a lesson in manners. There was five staff in the middle bar and all of them were just serving at one end. A gentleman stood next to me asked when they were going to start serving the people at the other end, the young woman he asked rudely told him to stop bothering her while she was trying to serve people.
