Generally friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks, no strict dress code and plenty of interesting characters. OMG and Dorothy's are great, with friendly, organised staff and great cocktails as well as flavored shots and bombs. Poste House is good for a random laugh with mad people (upstairs) especially if karaoke is on. Avoid The Lisbon though, staff are horrible and if you complain about the way they treat you, nothing will happen. Also looks like Elton John's funeral if Elton John were on a budget. Maybe it's the best pub I've been to in the UK since I arrived in the country. Why? For its uniqueness. This is a typical British pub in the middle of Liverpool, well decorated with wood features.
